I found that using the Laser for a long time over time is degrades the power of the laser decreases. When new it works great but over time it seems like you have to change the power settings.

Much better to buy the 30W module and a 7W Ortur Laser master 2. The Ortur has a tie rod across the axis so doesn't have the issue with staying parallel and has a 32-bit controller by default
Also neje s model got 32bit controller, after all neje still got twice bigger wotking area.
Hi, just bought the S version with the 32bit motherboard (waiting for delivery): Thx for the great walkthrough and recommendations. If you need inspiration for upcoming videos, I would appreciate content about engraving an image/graphics even larger than the workspace of the Neje Master 2 max. How to split in software - and how to best stitch/align the split image's when engraving. Thx in advance.
Thanks, but so far i got lot of work with neje products they send to me like neje mini, neje s (32bit) board for neje 2 and neje max, 40w laser modul and than make another video just about all the laser moduls and different engraver machines, than need to put lasers on edge of table and make something with a mill or lathe so i won't loose all subscribers 😉
Nice video and great information, but I like to ask if you try cutting Poster Foam board known as dollar tree foam board in the USA
I google for poster foam, it look like basic foam for packaging or tools, i don't know exact foam but some foam from packaging i try and it cut like butter 10mm thick.
But there could be problem of white or transparent colour, check my neje 2 video where i cut my logo out of 3mm foam, black one go loke butter while with white one got big troubles to cut them.

Yep only size is different, and the design of frame itself, booth exist in basic and S version, S version got instqlled 32bit motherboard.

Thanks, there are no 80w modul, i contact neje about that because lot of people asking about 80w there is just some ad od aliexpress wich say 80w, i got another video about 40w laser modul (wich you mean is 80w) and it got dual diode inside, laser dot is totally square, got fixed focus and i could say it's the best modul i try about twice as powerfull as 30w.

Hello, I have one question.... do you think you can try to put it on the wall and make it work there? I want to buy this but I don't have space for it in the house and I want to mount it on the wall. But I don't know if the steppers have enough power to move the laser module in a vertical way. Thank you for your help and I hope if you will try this, maybe you will make a video to post it.
No i try the neje mini is the only one who can handle emgraving on the wall.
@@TinC33 Thank you for your fast reply. So only the mini can be mounted on the wall and have the power to move in that position. Is because the steppers are not powerful enought?
@@SoulRelaxationMusic yep motors loose steps, because of weight, mini got same size of motors but the frame is light and....mini 😉

Quick question when done with the laser engraver do you unplug it after disconnecting? It just sits there with the light on.
Yes after it done the work i disconnect power supply from the socket and also disconnect usb cable, otherwise it will drain your laptop battery via usb.
Great TinC33 videos: I ask you a question, it is possible that you explained what type of air compressor you use to clean the smoke in the laser, I have had problems with the 30W Neje and I had to put a new one because there was no laser intensity . As I said before, your videos about the Neje are excellent. for thin and or Grayscale?
You can make thin layer but not as much like with smaller wattage, for grayscale 3,5w is far the best i tested, thet one is too powerfull.

I use basic 25liter compressor quite big and loud but i got them already, but also some fridge compressor will work, if you buy airbrush compressor wil be fine also, but take the one with a tank so it won't run all the time.

Bought NEJE Master 2S Laser Engraver on Aliexpress, but the dam thing
dies on me after about 15 hours or so. Had several problems with
cutting the thing does not cut. Even bought Lightburn, but no slution
from Neje. Contacted Neje, its a Neje product, got mail back and they
started to help me must do a lot of things , but when they find out
thats it was a mainboard problem they told me that its not bought in
an official Neje store so they could not help me. Funny thing is they
do not send to my country, all country 's are listed but when you try to
pay the answer is we doe not send to your country.
I had bought
another board to replace the first one but for a bigger machine. Start
to work like a charm and guess.. its cuts also, thus the first one was
broken from day one. But this one dies on me after 5 hours in the
middle of a job , same problem as i can see.

Ok so you got the 30W so you module power is 7w,? That is on this machine ? So working power about 5w ? See we begin on a big # 30W and end up on what? So the system use most of the power to run look to me that the laser should be working on a separate power supply to be more effective
Can you help me? I just bought this laser with a 40w laser. We installed it and the laser (blue beam) did it immediately after we start a program the laser beam didn’t do it anymore. Can you tell me what the problem should be?
can the 20W laser model cut through 2mm black acrylic?
I got the 40W version and put it on a green cutting mat like you. I was wondering if the laser would burn or damage the cutting mat?
Sure it cut that mat like butter, so be sure you got piece of wood thick enough below the working part so you won't demage expancive cutting mat like i do few times when it come through 3mm mdf wich u use on the buttom, specaially 40w is a beast and can cuickly cut trough.
Hi and hello, I just got the same model. But I was wondering what is the focusing distance from the material? How high does the laser module needs to be from the edge of the model in order to cut 3 to 5 mm plywood? Or the distance to get a perfect focus?
Best way is to playing with different settings, i don't remember exact settings, on 50w is 17mm i think
hi, i love the work area of this laser, but i am wondering between buying a higher watt or lower watt, i want to create quality pictures on wood, canvases, stainless steel etc, and i also want to do it relatively fast, does higher watt mean lower quality?
Yes for grayscale wood engrave 3,5W is far the best, but too week for deep engrave, so there is somekind of must to buy two moduls one for grayscale (didn't try 2,5W yet) and one for cutting and deep black engrave, i will make video about all neje laser moduls but not so soon, cuz firstly make video about neje mini, 32bit motherboard and 40w laser i already got at home bud didn't unbox yet...
please what settings do I have so that the master 2s MAX LightBurn homing and limits and outputs setup is set ideally
try to play a bit, you need to invert y axis pin direction and homing direction, and offcourse smax value. i think there are all the changes i make into video.

Make sure s-max is setted to 1000 then 100% laser power and 5-10mm/s speed.
@@TinC33Thanks for answer , after a little playing I managed power settings. But I have problem with bed size, and Y axis is upside down... When I want do put wor area on top of bed i need do move template outside of the grid in lightburn . And if i go too much stepper motor star to skip, and lihgtburn doest even worn me that template is outside of working area, and if I go a liitle more then it worns me... Bed settings are 810x460 mm...
And there is Y axis, when i move it manualy down, it goes up...
@@jocommb go to edit, machine setting click read and invert Y direction pin invert and y homing invert.
Good evening, today I got the laser that you also have, unfortunately I have not yet managed to cut the wood, what I used is 3mm plywood is very thin but it did not cut, if I put air as you say to cut it; I really can not understand what I am doing wrong. I have seen many videos and everything shows that this wood is cut. I put 100% laser 5ms and 10 passes. thank you.
Try to set 10-20ms burning time, and focus is very important while cutting, so you got smallest possible dot on surface of cutting materiall.

Which is best to make detailed drawings 40W, 30W, 15W or 3.5W?
I am not sure what is the limit downward regarding usability, but the less power you use the more detailed gradients you can achieve. Although there is an other factor, the dot size of the laser. In my opinion the best ratio on the market is on the laser master Pro 2. With 5.5-ish Optical (!) wattage If i would just only wanted a laser to engrave, i would not hesitate to buy that one. For cutting as well which i am looking for i think minimum 7.5W optical is the acceptable power.
Just for drawing and engraving means 2.5watt is enough which is available with rotrics hexbot

Yes it can up to about 5mm

I will try 40w laser modul also on acrylic in next days, so far i can't tell you more, but all transparent colours are tough to cut, solid colours go ok, also if it green or blue...

stupid question. Just ordered the air assist. How do you bend the metal pipe safely? Im afraid I might bend it closed inside.
I slowly bend with pliers on about 5-7 points a bit so i get a radius.

I don't know inkscape that good but do you save as gcode? Try to export as dxf file and open it in neje software, also for cad cutting and engraving lightburn is much better software.

why do the photos show no wires in the booklet. Some photos on ebay show wires and some do not...so are they the same models or different models? I just got mine "with the wires"
They use render photos, that's not the real photo, laser can't work without wires.
Is it good for cutting fabrics? Can you make a review how it cuts fabrics
it can cut, but maybe the edge is a bit melted or burned.
Hi Tin please i need help. I bought this Neje laser and cant do any cuting with neje software. Which software and settings you use for cut 3mm or 6mm plywood. Answer please 😉
I use neje software for engraving and lightburn for cutting, try to cut with 100% laser power and about 5mm/s speed or for neje software try 10ms burning time, depend on power but for 6mm you'll need air assist.

Hi, I'm engraving small coasters 90x90mm but each one can take 18-40 minutes depending on the design. I use a wireframe design for each logo so that it's very thin. Do you have any suggestions for speeding it up? I'm using the Neje Master 2 7W with its mobile app on Android. Burning only Birch plywood with 40ms carving time and 45% laser power.
Try to increase power and speed
@@TinC33 on the mobile app I can decrease burn time and increase power. What do you suggest for high quality plywood?
@@AlexEllis i siggest making test you can set power to 90% and then lower down burning time until you got result you want, but it may be too fast so engrave will be a bit lower quality so lower down the power to like 80% and increase burning time so it engrave slower...

@@jus10tanicala8 plywood i set to 6 passes but need to set 7 for perfect cut, mdf set to 5 passes but 4 will be enough, leather cut in single pass, and don't need to set 100% laser power 70-80 will be enough.

Sure you can use any picture, photo or dxf file you create by your own, you can take photo with a phone and few second later start engraving, great machine, please order them from a link into video description.

What is the total surface of the device? How big the surface between the supports? Height? Do you think a refrigerated enclosure with constant air flow is convenient? Thank you very much!
if you make housing, the laser need about 100X60cm of space and about 40-50cm height, it will work in any ventilated enclosure, don't worry about
I got the 30W version, and it barely cuts anything - my last try was cutting 3mm plywood: 90% power, 5mm/s, 23(!) passes - and the wood was still attached in a few places. I must be doing something wrong, but no idea what. I tried my best to focus it with the "wooden ramp" method, which led me to have the bottom of the laser be roughly 35mm above the wood. Any idea?
Try to clean the lens, there come film of dust over use wich impact cutting cappacity drasticly.

What to do when the laser stopping in work? The problem is that the laser no longer moves, the laser works but does not move it stops. you can help
Change firmware not use 2000000 one.
Also the to step motors to move on each side doing the same job back and forward mmmmm they will never move on a precise way at the same time and if the laser carrier rail move out of line the carving emages will be affected keeping the frame tigt will not do with rails so thin that long and acrilic corners sopports I will fit it to a under base to square it
Could you try cutting clear acrylic to see what happens?

Zdravo, koliko močan zrak pa imaš naštiman? je to kompresor ali je je akvarijska pumpa za zrak ? sliši se da piha zelo malo ampak kompresorja se pa tudi ne sliši :)) Kakšno zračno pumpo priporočaš ?
Pizdravljen, ponavadi sem imel 2-3 bare ali celo manj ampak zdaj snemam nov video na temo airassista (gre zelo slabo saj je polno dela z drvi in drugim zadevam) sem uporabljal celo 3-4 bare pa ni blo nekega hudega efekta, uglavnem sam uporabljam kar klasicni 25l kompresor ki ga imam v delavnici, slisi se ne ker ga zalavfa le vsake 5-10min odvisno od pritiska...
Prej sem uporablajl doma izdelan kompresor iz hladilnika z 3l posodo, ta je lavfal vsake par minut zato se je po daljsem delu pregrel, je pa super ker je izredno tih, akvarijska pumpa bi bila morda dovolj ampak višje kvalitete kar pa bo zagotovo drazje kot nek airbrush kompresor, ki bo zagotovo dovolj, sam bi vzel takega ki ima mali rezervoar da kompresor ne lavfa nonstop.

I use 100% laser power and about 10-5mm/s cutting speed into lightburn, airassist is the key to thick cutting

Hey, buddy . thank you for the video . I have the same neje master 2s max engraver , I bought it a week ago , I connected it directly to the lightburn program without installing the firmware, it started working , but I have a feeling that the laser power is very small, about 10-20 percent. I tried changing the power in the "cutouts / layers" tab . but nothing really happened . I set the minimum point using the height of the head itself , but I did not twist the focus of the lens , since it is quite clear . But the focal length seems to me quite large , not 30 mm as on the neije website , but about 50 millimeters. tell me how can I adjust the power ? perhaps you need to install the firmware ?? Or what should I do ? thanks
Do you set "S-max" to 1000 into lightburn? Otherwise it also may be a firmware idk.

Hi Tin. i hope you are well. Before of anything, thank you for sharing the review's video, it is very very helpful. I bought 40w neje max 2, it is an amazing machine to work. I am very glad about it. But I came across a problem after 2 days of being using the 40w laser, as you know these laser machines are setup up with weak light for we can check the work area or work with SVG file for cutting. But for some reason my weak light stop working, so the laser is firing soon I connect to the plug even if I have the machine with the bottom off. i don't understand why is happening and I hoping that you can give me some tips. i have run and confirmed the gcode config with wikineje and it's the same. Could you help me, please?
We'r well thanks, so if i understand when you power up the machine it instantly start burning with full power? Or just can't get the weak light for framing, positioning...
@@TinC33 yes soon i connect the charger, the laser start firing. I have using Laserweb4 for last 2 days and everthing run very well but for some reason today, the weak light started fashing for full power. And now, the laser is in full power and i have throw away two jobs in the bin,😭. I tried reset the machine, look for solutions in internet but nothing come up about neje laser machines
Try to upload firmware once again with neje firmware uploader, and try to use neje app, but i'm afraid thet laser diode driver died, did you contact neje team already, but it's problem to get some those days when they celibrate new year in china...

Hvala za videje. Vem, da si ze odgovoru na ta vprasanje pa nism najbolj razumel. Zanimam se za nakup neje master 2s 30w. Za graviranje na les nej bi bil bolsi 20w, a to samo dokupim 20w del za pribljizno 30e in montiram in vse dela. ? Al je treba ksne distancnike delat? Za graviranje na usnje kateri je bolsi mocnejsi ali sibkejsi.
Mogoce samo predlog. Pomoje vecino nas gleda te videje zacetniki zato mogoce bi blo fajn ksni osnovni videji, kje kupiti materijal, kaksno temperaturo in razdaljo nastaviti za razlicne materijale, z kaksnimi problemi zacetnik se lahko sooca. Lp
Za rezanje 20-40w za graviranje pa so boljši rezultati z 2,5 ali 3,5w modulom (ti so po 30e 20w je precej drazji) saj je ta modul prešvoh da bi rezal zato z polno močjo žge površino zato je le ta bolj črna kot pri močnejših modulih.
Modul se samo zamenja kabel je enak nič ni treba nastavljat, so pa 30 in 40w montirani drugače zdaj ne vem kako je pri novih modelih ampak sam sem moral za montažo 40w laserja na neje 2 narediti distančnik 3d tiskan da sem lahko montiral klesce gor za 40w. Kakorkoli montaža z nekaj improvizacije ne bi smel bit problem.
V naslednjem videu bo govora o 40w laserju, kater je zverina za rezanje, v naslednjem videu pa primerjam vse module od 2,5 do 40w v stilu kaj kupiti...
Hi i have the Neje master 2 s 30 watt. Do you know if i can just change the laser unit to a 80 watt unit, or do i need to change the motherboard also ????
You mean 40w, yes you can just replace the modul but you'll need a 4A power supply also (it come with a modul)
Hi,I was just wondering is this machine can cut 6mm plyboard and if this machine is worth the buy or not?
If you buy 40w version you'll cut 6mm easily, 30w is on the limit for 6mm if it worth iw your decision, but for me it work great so far.

I tried the anodized aluminum, 100% power, 100ms speed, didn't even mark it. How did you get it to engrave?
Try with lower speed like 5-10mm/s

Hello, I've got the Neje 2s with the 30w module, during some testing I was able to cut plywood 3mm, but now it never cuts... even with 5mm/s and 100% laser, I have no idea why :(
Do you got air assist, use same software as on test? Try to screw out the lens and clean them with soft towel or better fabric to clean the glasses or lens...
When you cut through something, u use self healing mat? I mean doesnt laser Come through the mat and cut it too Deep to heal?
no i always put something under the working piece, basicly i use 3mm mdf for protection, but few times it come trough and demage the mat a bit wich is quite expencive in that size.

Hi I just bought neje master 2S Max laser cutter. Would like to know if it is able to cut Foam board.
Sure it can but lighter colour a bit harder black one cut like butter.

I purchased the NEJE master 2 max and the laser will not move back to “home”. The horizontal axis moves but the vertical axis does not. I have adjusted the tension on the belt (both tighter and looser) and it’s still not moving on it’s own. I have pushed the reset button and turned machine off, still nothing. Anyone else have this issue? If so, how did you get it working properly? Thanks
I don't got this kind of problem, but try to remove belt and check if wheels ruuning nice and if the motor rotate when moving.
I have two questions:
1) The link does not direct to NEJE Master 2 max and also does not appear on the Banggood website.
2) Between the NEJE Master 2 max and the AtomStack A5 PRO also from Banggood, is there much difference? Thanks
When open the link to neje store just go into neje max tab and choose neje max and select options of laser modul. I don't know atomstock laser.

Super video. Iščem laser primarno za potrebe graviranja (les, usnje, barvana kovina,..). Že nekaj časa gledam Neje Master 2 plus 30W, vendar nikjer ne najdem ustreznih podatkov kako se obnaša pri graviranju. Če prav razumem je za graviranje bolje izbrati 20W (tanjši žarek, več detajlov?). Opazil sem da obstaja Neje Master 2s 20W, vendar je spet težava ker verzije "plus" z večjo površino obdelave ni. Na posnetkih uporabljajo 30W laser za graviranje s 2-5% moči, bojim se da je zadeva preveč močna za kvalitetno graviranje?
Pozdravljen, kot si rekel gravirat se da tudi z 20,30 in 40w le da z nižjo močjo, tudi le z 10% ampak če je moč premajhna učinka ne bo, čim je moč nastavljena dovolj visoko, da se recimo v lesu pozna gravura, laser že odžiga prevec lesa in dobimo globoko gravuro brez pravega grayscale efekta, zato je ga graviranje daleč najboljši kar sem probal 3,5w modul, mogoče 2,5w še bolj ampak nisem probal, ker ta z recimo 80-100% moči nima dovolj moči da bi material odžigal ampak žgle le po površini lesa (materiala) tako da za graviranje vsekakor priporočam 2,5 ali 3,5w pri 14:05 lahko vidiš razliko med neje 30w na sredini neje 3,5w desno pa ortur 15w.

@@TinC33 Hvala za odgovor. Bojim se, da z 20W laserjem nebom uspel gravirati oz. markirati določenih materialov (kovina, usnje). Si pa lajično predstavljam, da tudi pri 30W laserju lahko povečaš moč graviranja ter hitrost in mogoče dosežeš boljše kontraste pri gravirnaju? (da ne gravira pri minimalni moči).
@@TheFireStorm88 pravkar sem testiral neje mini z 10w laserjem in ne vem kaj naj si mislim, dejansko vsak modul deluje drugače, na aluminiju in inoxu sem imel najboljše rezultate z 20w, 30 je res za rezanje, 10w je nekje umes, a za graviranje v les se hitro izkaže kot premočan, vsi so ok za globoko črno graviranje kjer odžge 0,5-2mm lesa ampak za površinsko grayscale graviranje 3,5w še vedno ostaja daleč najboljši, od graviranja v alu in kovino si ne obetaj preveč, ko si rekel da dvigneš hitrost in moč... tu nastane težava v dezajlih, saj je laser takoj ko gremo izpod 10ms burning time hitro prehiter in tako dobimo slabše robove, kar se pozna na detajlih.
Upam da dobim še 2,5w in pol nardim en video o vseh modulih kaj pa kako...

Pozdravljen Tine. Hvala za dobre predstavitve in dodatna pojasnila spodaj. Imam pa dve vprašanji. Link, ki ga predlagaš za nakup ima tudi pošiljanje iz skladišča v Nemčiji. V tem primeru najbrž ni dodatnih carinskih stroškov in je to že končna cena? Zaradi same možnosti velikosti obdelave se ogrevam za model 2s plus, ki pa ima 30W laser. če prav razumem, bi bilo za kakovostnejše graviranje priporočljivo dokupiti tudi šibkejši laser - kako je kompatibilnostjo laserjev. Ali bodo tudi drugi pasali na to napravo?
Tako je če kupiš v neje shopu je trenutno na zalogi tudi v nemškem skladišču, torej boš laser prejel precej hitro (ca5dni) in brez dodatnih stroškov kot so davek in carina, bisem pa prepričan ali je v ceno všteta poštnina.
Za grayscale (več odtenkov sive) graviranje slik priporočam 3,5 ali 2,5w laser ki naredi precej boljše rezultate, stane pa le dobre 30e, na max nisem prepričan če paše direkt, saj ima max pritrjene klešče kamor se vpne 30 ali 40w laser 3,5 recimo pa ima samo dva navoja da se privije (glej moje ostale neje videe) najlažje in najhitreje bi blo naredit nek distančnik kamor bi privil laser in potem distančnik vpel v klešče na maxu, ta distančnik se lahko naprinta ali naredi iz aluminija (lahko se obrneš tudi name) kabel pa se samo priklopi, signal za krmiljenje laserja je enak, pravtako napajalna napetost.
Če boš naročaval, prosim naroči iz linka pod posnetkom (shareasale) ki te prevsmeri v neje shop na ta način tudi jaz prejmem kak % 😉

I would usually cut 3-4mm ply, what speeds and how many passes would you think it would be possible with this?
with 30w i think 5mm/s about 2 pass, but depend on type of ply...
@@TinC33 I have ordered one (30w module) and put it on my machine just yesterday. I was able to cut 4mm ply 2 passes at 100mm/MIN, so not nearly as fast as what you suggested, but I see that you focus further. The manual says the optimal cutting distance (from bottom of module is 5mm, and it should be focused at the middle of the wood, so 3mm between heatsink and top of wood. No air assist yet, I don't know if that can be such a difference maker
@@istvanmaasz6771 i got vest result is i set focus to smalles possible dot onto wood surface, not like manual says, so i got laser more than 10mm from wood for sure maybe also 20mm, and air assisg make huge difference into cutting capacity and speed.
@@TinC33 your guess was 300mm/min 2 passes, which is 150mm/min speed to sum it up, I was able to do 600mm/min 10 passes, so 60mm/min total speed. But you got my hopes up, hopefully I can make some air assist out of a blower fan
Hello, I have recently brought this laser cutter. around halfway through the engrave the machine stops, yet no error codes from the board, does the laser have a cool down period? Have you had the same problem? Thanks
Do you got 200000 firmware uploaded on them, try to upload middle firmware on them that halped for me.

Hey have the laser now also. What do you do against a strong smoke development? My basement is full of smoke do you have a tip.
I would mound some soft pipe (about 50mm) next to a laser and use some ventilator to suck smoke and blow them through the window.
Use stronger fan like the one for freshing the toilet room.

Right now editing the video about neje master 2 and master 2S model so difference between 8 and 32bit board, 40w laser modul got in the box but need to film them didn't make unboxing yet...

Bo i don't heave a site, it's just 0,8mm medical needle connect to compressor and regulator set to about 1 bar of preassure, just to clean the black dust away for next pass.

@@giorgospantelopoulos1611 i try with booth my compressor, basic 25liter air compressor regulator set to about 1 bar, work perfect run only here and there, but more likely use my homemade compressor out of refrigerator, because it's very quiet but need to run almost all the time, so after 2-3hours of work it become really hot. I think also airbrush compressor would be enough.

Ob odprtem oknu gre brez problema ampak se vonj dima vpije v cunje in ostale zadeve...

@@blazerculj2701 nimam iskušenj z drugimi razen ortur in insma kar imam posbeto tukaj, ampak Neje mi je od teh najbolj všeš.
Glede glasnosti pa odvisno od samega modula ter načina uporabe, v osnovi je gravirnik zelo tih, tišji od 3d printerja vsekakor zelooo tišji od sesalca, je pa najglasnejši ventilator na modulu, sploh starejši 20w katerega imam sam, ki še njma temperaturno reguliranega ventilatorja, manj W kot ima modul, manj se bo grel zatorej manj obratov ventilatorja (novi modeli imajo mislim da vsi regulirane vrtljaje glede na temperaturo) ampak tudi, če boš z njim rezal z 100% močjo laserja ne boš slisal skozi zaprta vrata, glede dima pa se da tudi rešiti z kakim ventilatorjem (tieti za prezračevenje kopalnice) pa cev od kuhinjske nape gor in skozi okno...

They are for fixing machine on the table, screw go through the holes into legs and another 4 screws into table or other base, so you can't move the machine and it stay parpendicular.

Hello, i've got last week new master 2s max 40w. When i tried lightburn:
first homing moves was ok -> left back corner
1) it was going different y possition and at the end it was going different y and it was engraved mirror
2) then i tried to change y pin a and y pin invert like video -> when i tried to position laser from lightburn moving it was going right direction - auto home is also OK
3) after few tries i discovered after auto homing, when i went to position in lightburn and tried to move manually -> directions was ok, x is right value, but after homing left back corner is showing y direction value 460 (x=0;y=460)
before i discovered bad position it was a lot of "crashing" a think a need big red button to stop machine.
Anybody know how to solve my problem please? Once i got (x=0;y=0) and engraving was ok... but don't know how to make it again... I didn't change anything. Just stopped engraving and send machine to home and started engraving again (or maybe tried to check positions in position page).
I hope you can understand my poor english level. Thank you for help.
copy that on lightburn forum and they will answer you, i think it's just some settings, try to play a bit more, when start crashing, just turn off the power suply ;)

I have been using this but having a hard time to cut 3mm plywood. What should be the height of the laser above the cutting material?
It doesn't metter of high that much but you need to set focus so you got smalles possible dot and air assist make huge difference
@@TinC33 thank you for taking the time to respond I really appreciate it so I have used a microscope to set the point as small as I can but it still needs at least: 7 passes 8mm/s @100% power

@@TinC33 yes i have air assist and it made a big difference in getting clean look, but still it often takes 7 passes at 4mm/s at 85% power
