In your video when you flip over after 8 Sq cutting the square that does not fall out shows different cutting for horizontal vs vertical path. This indicates Laser dot is not a square but a rectangle. Is this fixable or just bad characteristic of neje diodes. I see exact same thing on my neje laser. It mean more power or second pass to cut just because of laser diode dot shape.
update it does have an air assist im getting the neje 3s max it should be here in about 14 days im so excited

Brother I have this laser module with air assist and I am having trouble cutting 3mm MDF, did you unscrew laser head?
on neje Wiki it says that the laser should be adjusted with a screwdriver. 30mm for accurate engraving and 55mm for thick cutting. should you really do that?

Hi, thank you for your video. I just ordered mine and still waiting for it. I heard that running at 100% power decrease drastically the laser module performance after 20 hours of use. Did you see any change?
don't worry Neje laser 40w I have more than 4 months and more than 200 hours of cutting (100%)or engraving and no change in performance.

Hi, I'm interested in how you set the laser power, I have the same one, but mine cuts 4mm plywood with one pass only 150mm / m, with two passes 250mm / m that's max? thank you
what type of plywood do you use? I use poplar plywood .Birch and beech plywood are harder and cut slower

So I have had this for two months and after the first month 300 hours or so and several cleanings it barely cuts 6mm MDF at 100% power 100mm/m and 7 passes. Please Help
My focus is super close to the laser module itself for some reason, is there a way to adjust it down? For me the module has to be basically touching the surface to be focused well.
try changing the position by turning the lens if possible

Hi, between the Sculpfun S9, the Atomstack X7 and the this Neje with the A40640 laser module which one is the best for cutting, in your opinion?
Your videos are the best ones showing the capabilities of this machines, but also they make me want all of them haha 😂
I haven't tried Sculpfun S9 but NEJE (A40640) and the Atomstack X7 PRO with the right focus point and air assist is very powerful. I personally use more NEJE (A40640)

It’s true. Try not to exceed 85% for long periods.
