Fly Fishing Hyalite Creek, Bozeman, Montana, 06/14/24

Most of the rivers of southwest Montana, particularly around Bozeman, are contending with the snow melt; so, they are still not ready to be fished.
Fortunately for Bozeman, Hyalite Creek is right in their back yard, so to speak; and, it is looking great.
I fly fished this particular stretch of the creek yesterday and did fine...catching a small rainbow trout on a yellow sally nymph.
Just hiking in Hyalite Canyon is a sight to behold right now.
