Live Life Untucked, #WorkHardPlayHarder - แนวปฏิบัติและการใช้ชีวิต
Respect! We should always have reverence for those elders that showed us the way. Cool video.
This video has so much NJ culture in it. :) Brings me back. I grew up less than a mile from that workshop.
Good stuff Jon. I love getting feedback from veterans on the kinds of finishes they have had the best luck with. It takes the some of the trial and error out of my builds.
That was a great interview Jon. He certainly is a man of many talents.
Two important things stand out to me from this video- Work ethic your parents gave you and you gave to your kids. The second was Respect for tools from Bob.
Yuup, being on time and not putting ur hands where they dont belong sums it all up.
a tip: watch series at flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching lots of of movies recently.
@Aydin Joshua definitely, I have been watching on flixzone for years myself :)
Getting started with any discipline is a challenge, but it's a bit easier when you have giants for mentors.
It is always nice to reconnect and share inspiration, Thank you very much, Jon.
Thanks so much for the fantastic interview, Jon, and thank you Bob for sharing your knowledge and the privilege of to see your beautiful paintings and furniture.
Wonderful paintings and woodworking........he has artistic talent for sure!!!!
Great video. Thanks for sharing.
Great Video, thanks for sharing
What a passion and delight to watch! What a fantastic artistry that you both create, im very inspired by both of you guys.
Enjoyed this video very much Jon. Loved the work ethic talk . Keep that going .
Great reminder for me of working with my Dad at his second job for many years .
Bob, all the best in retirement. Health n Happiness and keep your brushes wet .
Loved your builds and art .
Great interview. You hate to see all these older craftsmen retire but that day comes to all of us Including me. Love retirement but miss the people.
Thanks very much for sharing!
Thank you Jon for that awesome interview.
hi jon
nice to see the old master craftsman and the new master craftsman
and how we all have learned from some one before us from the smallest detail to the largest detail are so important the people we have worked for and taught us have all been an influence one way or another on us
really lovely video
Very good
Great Video. So informative. So much respect in the room.
Loved the video.
Great insight. Thanks for sharing.
Really enjoyed the video
Excellent video Jon! Very very interesting!
Wonderful video, Great teacher.!!!!
Great interview !!!
Fantastic!
Jon I sure enjoyed this video and would love if Bob had himself a channel. Real interesting fella, I could listen to y'all chat for hours. I'm a cabinet maker and a welder and I typically work from about 7 am till about 7:30 every night and try to steal an hour or two to watch videos before bed. This one left me pretty inspired to go play.
Nice video, Jon. It always amazes me how little things can impact/determine the direction in which one chooses to go through life. Wayne, NJ is one of my old stomping grounds...studied mechanical engineering at nearby NJIT.
Great video Jon, Robert very interesting man I wouldn't mind you both being my Mentor's if I'd got my time over again. have a nice day.
Here's some insight from my old boss Bob about the woodworking business and how it's changed over the 37 years he's owned The Woodworker in Wayne, NJ.
REPLY
really nice hearing from him, inspiring!
Awesome.
Very cool and interesting video. Bob’s work is so incredible he’s very modest about his work but just the little we did get to see, and his paintings are beautiful. I could go on and on. You had the same type of schedule as I did only we would get out at 12:55 every day and I would go to work at my grandfather’s full service gas station and automotive shop Burhoe’s Service but only stayed there for 5 year’s and then went the dealership route. Sorry about the book I wrote here.
Hey, I know Harvey Keitel when I see him. Great interview!
Ha! I had the same thought.
seems like a great guy
That guy has some skills.
this one was perfect :-)
can we see more of the dabble hinges TV cabinet
Wonderful interview Jon. It seems craftsman such as him are far and few between. He appears to be a great artist as well. Does he sell his art work on line?
Work ethic above all else. If you’re early, you’re on time. If you’re on time, you’re late. If you’re late, well...
Great interview! I didn’t catch his full comment on pocket holes. Did he say you’ve got to have height?
I think he said you have to hide them or keep them hidden.
Did you go to high school in Wayne?
