  • www.jonpeters.com/ When my wife and I were first married , we lived in a small one bedroom apartment in NYC. I made this table so we could have company over for dinner. And then store the table under the bed, when we weren't using it

Nice video demonstration, displaying collapsible design of the table. This will help others to build small workshop at home.

Beautiful work, Jon. Love the way you fold it up. I could use one of these!

Brilliant! And too funny...my wife, daughter , and I live in a small one bedroom on the Upper Westside. I've designed about ten folding tables, but have yet to come up with one that warrants buying the wood. I like your design. I was thinking of making something that can hang on the wall and not be an eye-sore. There's an Italian company making one that doubles as a framed mirror, but they are using a proprietary hinge mechanism.

Great idea! Can you modify it to be just a little smaller? Love it! Thanks for showing us.

That is am amazing table, but what is even more amazing is that you only have about 2200 views for this project!
This would be a wonderful camping table. Are you selling plans? I don't need the plans, but I wouldn't use your idea if you were offering plans.

a small hint to that: cut the plate on top atleast into 2 parts, so you really get it into every car... the legs could also be fixed with a small trick... ^^ I am... I think I will do a small plan of it ^^

Yes, it's possibly he smallest workshop in the world...in our apartment. Someday, I hope to get a dedicated shop. If you know anyone who has a space to share, please let me know. I have lots of Festools and hand tools. You're always welcome to come by and check out my workshop.

I made it by myself. I used woodprix scripts for that.
