Nova Motorcycles-1989 Honda 650 Transalp

Say hello to your adventure bike's Granpappy-the 1989 Honda Transalp. This 650cc, liquid-cooled, v-twin was just a little ahead of it's time for us in the States, but it sure did open the door for one of the fastest growing markets in the last decade-adventure bikes. Smooth for on-road, and light enough for off-road. At the time Cycle World described it as "comfortable, versatile, utilitarian, and stylish." As they say, what goes around come around and it seems that the Transalp is finally getting its due as the elder statesman.

The 1989 model is not a 650 they are in fact 600 I have one myself
