    Nice, it gives me hope that I can do it! One thing: to remove moss easily just wash it under running water, much faster (I know this trick with orchids)

    Thanks for putting this together. I was trying to get an idea how long it would take to root an albo node and it was nice to be able to see it in action. The time stamp and clock was a nice touch. Please make more videos! I just subscribed!

      I would love a followup video on what you are doing with the cuttings now and your long term plans of keeping them healthy and growing. Right now, I'm focus on Aroids and have started collecting Monstera Albos cuttings that have leaves and some without like the ones in your video.

    I went cutting crazy on a mama, after watching this I don't pulled mine out of water 5 of them and re cut them now that I know wats needed for growth. I made a mistake and chipped a root off making a new cut however like 15 growing in water now thanks to you now I need to trust when to pot them

    I just ordered 2 cuttings from Etsy for only 17€ I'M SO HAPPY AND EXCITED. Monstera albo borsigiana is my most wanted plant, after getting them I think I'm not gonna buy another plant for quite a long time cuz I'll spend half of the time admiring the most beautiful variegation on the leaves

    Have you ever thought about selling or sharing some of your beautiful nodes? All time dream plant!!! Your video has encouraged me to try nodes after years of collecting. I wont ever be able to afford an albo but if I could, IO would follow your instruction to a tee!!

    Were you worried about the number of pests in there? Spotted a good few fungus gnats I think and some other crawlies!

      Annoyed more than anything. It wasn’t an oppressive number of gnats that would make me concerned for the health of the plants. I did fish them out a couple times a week to try to cut down the population and get rid of them (eventually got them all by the end).

    This was great, thank you! I have a node that has been sitting in moss for a month, nothing. I THINK I was so cautious about it rotting that it's been too dry. Seeing your set up helped a lot. I wasn't sure where to put the aerial root, etc. I wanted to see pictures of how it's done. Now it's a bit moister and I'm waiting! LOL

    Is there a benefit to propagating all of them in the same sphagnum container instead of separate to avoid that root tangling?

    I'd say Those two brown nubs on the late stem is your Arial root. Still a very successful propagation!!!

    Hey, I just wanted to say that timelapse was really amazing, I really appreciate the effort and expense you have put into making this whole video, and I hope the Monsteras are growing well. I got one question as well, I was wondering why didn't you use water to wash the moss from roots? I mean I feel like under water you could remove moss safely or at least shoot some sprinkles, Im not experienced so I would be grateful for an answer

      Yes, water! i always soak my moss propped cuttings in water for a little while before removing the moss, it makes it WAY WAY easier and safer to remove without damaging the roots :)
