Yeah Emma nailed the voice over, she was playing as the guard/sisters team and I did feel bad killing off the sister superior, going to have to bring her back. It's TV no one ever really dies right?

Great video! I love the effects, especially she genestealer closing in on the sister, weaving in and out. Little animations like that are what really adds to the fun! Reminds you that they aren't teleporting around
Ok, there were three distinct reactions I had during the course of the report: 1) oh man, things are looking grim for that last Guardsman, let's see if he can pull out of this one... 2) Yes! Yes! The sisters of battle are here! Kinda Deus ex feeling, but still awesome to-- wait, did I just hear the cultists mention salvation...? 3) OH SHIT! GENESTEALERS!!! GAME OVER, MAN! This was a great alternative battle report, would definitely like to see more of this style in the future!

This is just extraordinary., wow. I was skeptical when I first heard you would be omitting any dice rolling... but oh boy was I wrong. The whole thing is simply superlative... and all those little aesthetic touches add to the experience rendering it - utterly supreme. Love your in game voices and Emma`s added touch adds another layer of sublime immersion. I can`t praise this enough. I`ve actually copied it onto my external hard-drive (which I do with my absolute favourite things) to watch with my wife on the big screen TV in the lounge.. over and over. Pleeeeseee do many many more of these, I really REALLY appreciate all the work that`s gone into this project.

I'm going to be paying for that for a while 😄. I really hoped that it would be tense like, I got worried in the first turn when everyone died, one of those games where someone rolls really hot and the other player really isn't. I might try to include dice rolls but do it subtly - rolling on green screen and overlaying them into the borders on the overhead so those not interested can ignore. It was the hardest choice for the game as a fan of battlereports I always want to see the dice rolls but on the other hand it takes away from the story.... Tricky but think I'll try it with them next time ....sorry you are the comment I read right after the coffee kicked in clearly. Thanks for watching man and your feedback, really appreciate it 👍

@@GFNGaming not the original comment, but I stand with OP’s statement. Personally, the comms guy firing his weapon broke the immersion because he didn’t have his weapon in firing position. Seems like a really small detail, but when you have something really well done (like the rest of this video) even small things can break the immersion. Keep up the good work!

This was excellent! I'm excited for more of these videos. My only suggestion was that it was occasionally harder to see where the minis were on the table since you didn't film moving them. Maybe some kind of highlighting the minis on the table? But over all the video was excellent!
Russ. I am new and thank you for making this campaign. I fell in love with your editing and the narrative draw in. I've never played Kill Team, but I was wanting to try. This report just sold me on the game and concept. I just wanted to say again, thank you!
Oh i mean we adapted the fire teams a little and I made a custom mission but we're still using the core rules. I'm trying to teach the other player the game. This is why there was only the one objective and no tac ops. The dice still decided what happened they just weren't shown. It might be something i add back in, if i can do it without having to reference them.

Cheers man, I think honestly the less narrative games get more views and tend to do better. VS a narrative campaign which in my eyes would be nicer to look back on as a 'creator'. Plus when every new episode releases the older vids tend to get a small resurgance - so perhaps in the long term they'll outlast the other videos. Also with their tendancy to focus less on the rules they should be impacted less by rules updates etc
Amazing vid. One small bit of feedback: the coms garbled sound is very harsh and loud, especially for headphone users and while I like the authenticity it makes for a quick headache. Worth putting a headphone warning in or changing the sound effect. Thanks!

Amazing vid. One small bit of feedback: the coms garbled sound is very harsh and loud, especially for headphone users and while I like the authenticity it makes for a quick headache. Worth putting a headphone warning in or changing the sound effect. Thanks!
