Been to Thailand at least ten times. They don't play around. Obey their laws. Respect their customs. Not hard.
Only ten times?
@@fleshtaffy That's a lot to go on holiday to the same country
@@samdobie6748 not a lot to be an expert on their current laws and customs lol. But yea you're right this guy could be 30 for all I know.
@@fleshtaffy It cost alot to go to Thailand, atleast where i'm from
@@CringeModeActivated With your name, I assume that you’re from the US. The only expensive thing is the flight, which isn’t to bad. I’ve bought round trip tickets from Vegas for as little as $750, and once you get to Thailand everything is cheap.
Born and lived in Bangkok for 20 years. Don't get involved in that scene if you don't have the pockets to buy your way out. Rule of law is different there.
can you buy your way out? Someone I knew in highschool just got busted there with a bunch of party drugs meth / coke etc.. all packaged in a way that was not explainable as personable consumption. I'm curious what will happen to him. his family should be well off.
As part Thai and been living here for 26 years, just stay away from the "dark areas", Bangkok Hilton is a place you definitely won't enjoy especially if you don't have the money. So many beautiful places to see and fun activities to do legally! Don't try fighting the locals too and try to resolve conflicts with a cool head. Thais are kind and helpful people generally, just don't make them lose face in their own land or you'll see a side you wish you didn't bring out.
Why you shouldn’t fight with the locals Thais? What will happen?

Never do anything drug related in south east Asia ( the laws are super strict )
Doesn't stop a lot of young men coming here..... I see it all the time. 30 year old bloke with no visible means of support, living in a nice condo, superbike ect.....
Why don’t they have more progressive drug laws? Why should people adhere to ridiculous laws?
@@hmalik5232 Because of the consequences if you‘re not.

I knew a guy from Singapore who got arrested for possession of heroin in Thailand and sent to prison there. He suffered for the first 2 weeks but from the moment his brother visited him and brought money, he lived luxuriously. Better sleeping conditions, no longer ate prison food, booze, drugs and he didn't even get deported upon his release. They simply handed his passport back to him. That was in the late in the late 90s. Not sure if the same arrangements are possible now.
He would of been deported but the rest is true if you have 💰 money being in prison in Thailand is not that bad I know some guys that were there for years they shared a cell with another guy one had their own cell some one cooked his food another washed he's clothes outside in the prison yard they had a little area were they lounged around on deck chairs a little garden never said about booze but plenty of drugs shemales lol they didn't say too much but I knew but they also said if they didn't have money it would of been very uncomfortable
I mean you’re lucky they were bribe-able or else your friend would be 💀
Sounds like a lie although anything is possible when it comes down to money.
I'm Thai, and recently, many ex-inmates have been sharing their experiences of prison life. If you have a lot of money, it's not too bad.
There are prison gangs, and if you're at the top, you can do many things. However, you're still in prison.
The luxuries inside are nothing compared to the outside world. They're just small comforts, like better snacks or not having to do your own laundry.
Interactions with the outside world are very limited, and bribery doesn't accomplish much.
if you seek excitement ,you get excitement,
but dont be surprised if adventure starts and you no longer able to stop it
Thank you for story!.
Been to that lovely country a few times and the people are lovely. So don't disrespect the culture or the laws.
It's pretty simple right? You would think
@@WrongThink_ have you ever even traveled? Every where you go you have to respect the laws, no matter un which class you are
I’m in Thailand right now. It’s quite safe and the people are nice. Im here now for almost 6 weeks and never seen a fight or robbing on the street or what so ever. Remember to ALWAYS respect their king and royal family. You’re a guest in his kingdom. Respect that kingdom and you won’t be in trouble.
I lived there for 5 years. It's easy to have a peaceful life there with no hassle. I'm not into drugs or anything like that, so the Thai underworld was never something I diced with. I go back there in two weeks after 3 years away.
Be happy and make oher happy that's the key to live and keep away from crime

Reality is really harsh.
Wow amazing
When I was in Bangkok i was approached by undercover policemen who posed as drug pushers trying to sell drugs to tourists, i knew this game they play so I told them to get lost.
I have come to the kingdom for 30 years started as a backpacker, i have never ever experienced that, i have paid tea money while stopped in traffic, that's it
I know a person that went there after bidding on a job,he claims that at the airport headed back to the states, his personal bank, password, was stolen from his luggage, that drugs was planted and he is in prison, 4000 kept him alive, but now don’t know whether he is dead or alive

I have a co-worker who only travels to Thailand for their cheap hookers. This dude is shameless, lol will always bring back picture of his "girlfriends", completely doesn't get that that they just like his money, not actually him. Its funny listening to him talk cause he's all into threesomes, crazy stuff, but he gets all serious about "Don't insult the King!"
He said at the beginning of movies they will play this short thing about the "King" and you must stand up and show respect, not doing so could get you arrested.

UK prisons need to be more like Thai prisons! No one ever wants to go back to a Thai prison! I have actually visited a friend in Bang Kwang Prison. It is a terrible place!
Than move to a country where there’s no human rights if you love authoritarian third world countries’ so much
Exactly you would see crime cut right down overnight.and a.lot less pressure on the cops,-but while we have left wing do gooders very little chance of that
If people from other countries commit crimes in our country, we try them according to our laws and we put them in prison according to our laws, too. Yes, the conditions in some countries's prisons are reprehensible, but it's quite normal that you're going to be brought to justice in the country you're committing the crime in.

Being in Thailand is really very simple. Follow the laws and respect the culture and you'll be ok. Thailand is a wonderful country, so there is no need to make trouble for yourself.
What if you're set up?
I find it impossible to know all laws of my own country, let alone to learn laws of another one. I guess this, combined with the risk of wrongful conviction (no justice system can be 100% accurate), is the reason I won't ever willfully visit a country with poor respect to human rights.

Anyone knows how to watch full videos and free (last seasons) thanks🙏🙏
I knew someone who got driven by an extremely drunk driver on a moped, they crashed Into a woman and child, both of them knocked out, luckily the woman and child weren't badly hurt, woke up and he was in prison getting charged with the drunk driving and hitting someone, he said that he rotted in prison where inmates died of disease, neglect and starvation for 6 months before his appeal to get them to check the cctv to prove that it was not him that was driving, apparently the police who "witnessed" it don't lie so they never thought to listen to his side

Yes, in Thailand, despite facts and evidences, the Thais' testimonies are always deemed as valid by police. Like farangs are all compulsive liars or to get something off them ;)

So national geographic hired Thai actors to show their version of how life in a Thai prison is. I guess it was filmed in a studio. I visited people staying in a Thai prison many times. Police: **finds something on me, shouts and draws their sidearms**
Me: “Don’t shoot! Don’t shoot! They’re _souvenirs!”_ **has a Watt shaped bank, a pair of Thai sticks, a bumper sticker that says “Honk if you’re Thai!”, and a teapot that says “I ❤️ Bangkok!” taped to my torso**
Police officer: “You must pay a fine…of _TWO AMERICAN DOLLARS!”_
