    Great help I think you've helped me decide , but now it's between the 556 and the ca nemesis

      Honestly , best advice is go G&G rock solid and reliable, I know so many players with an ARP and nobody has issues that leaves the ARP as standard.

    It just seems like the 556 is the 9 but it shoots harder and is heavier, i get that its not by much but still, 210 compared to 300 for basically the same gun seems kind of nuts if your on a budget. I also like the 9 more because its different, its not just another shorty M4, its a unique 9mm pdw style

      Lincoln Steen the 556 is upgraded from the ARP-9, quicker , more powerful - better gun worth the money.

    I personally prefer the 9, its unique look for example. Ive shot both and if you use .28 with the 9 with a 1000mAh 11.1 v lipo it massively outshoots the 556.

    I've had so much fun playing with the G&G ARP's the 556 is really the better AEG all round, I hope you agree and I'd love to hear from players using either one, to hear how you've got on, any upgrades and mods you've made? Thanks for watching Richy
    Big shout out to players at UCAP sites and new Team I'm playing Urban CQB games with called South Coast Airsoft Division got 3 other members using the 556 and loving it,

      I like the 9. The only problem is that you cant put other mags from different companies. Tho with the 556, you can use any m4 mag

    i love both of them the arp-9 is cheaper, but the arp556 is a m4 style so the mags are so much cheaper and holds more rounds

    The G&G - G2 gearbox
    vs. V2 gearbox.

    And this APR has basic V2 ?

    What do you mean which is best?
    One is plastic, one is metal, both are the same internally. One has easier to find and cheaper magazines. End of discussion...

    • @teampunisherairsoftuk3748
      @teampunisherairsoftuk3748  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Actually the internals of both are different with different FPS and rate of fire plus in UK magazines cost about the same but I've found the ARP9 mags need lots of frequent winding up, are long and not very tactical need different pouches and the ARP plastic mags break, we're as metal G&G 556 mags don't in my experience.
      I've actually sold both my ARP9 and 556 and gone HPA, which is 100% better

      Bill Langdoc hi , I just got an Evo, last week and it’s HPA, given the choice of Evo, ARP-9 or ARP556, I’d still play with the ARP556 and it’s cheaper than an Evo!
      My next film is ARP9, 556, Kriss Vector, Evo and Falkor Defense Blitz, which I love best !

      I use 20c. The 556 can handle 11.1v batteries it really is built for it. My one had a lot of in game abuse and was always reliable. Wish I'd not sold it recently but it was battered from CQB

    Just bought one of these, I already ordered the extension on the advice of an ARP9 user, do you think I’ll get away without using it? As you said in the video you didn’t need it. I’ve ordered Nuprol 11.1v 1450mAh, hopefully that’ll fit without the extension & I can keep it as a just in case kind of thing.

    • @teampunisherairsoftuk3748
      @teampunisherairsoftuk3748  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, thanks for the question, for a good fit you need the extension.
      If using a smaller lip and leaving the cap off the stock tube you can get away without the extension.
      On my ARP556 I dont need the extension at all, I just leave the end cap off the stock tube and leave the stock slid in all the time.
      Hope that helps, but it's all just personal taste and feel based on game play.

    I have the ARP 9 and it fires around the 325 mark I was debating getting the 556 for mag compatibility with my team at milsims but afraid it would end up over 328 (NI FPS limit). Does anyone else on your team have one and know the FPS by any chance?

    • @teampunisherairsoftuk3748
      @teampunisherairsoftuk3748  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      So my ARP556 was under 330 fps on .2 and if you change the spring to a 90 or 100 it would be lower. Shops in you area should only sell RIF's that meet your legal requirements.
      Basically a spring is £10 and shop your buying from should fit what you want.
      However its a CQB gun not really Milsim.

    • @TheRedCloudAMV
      @TheRedCloudAMV 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@teampunisherairsoftuk3748 yea see the thing is over here everyone is limited to 328 so if we buy a rif from England and it's shooting 330 it's too hot, but it means for milsim everyone is set to the same fps limit so it's just whatever your comfortable with, my ARP9 is a solid performer (I'd rather it than my krytac to be honest). I know of one shop here who has the 556 in stock and it's a good bit dearer than in England, although with Brexit it might be as well just to pay the extra locally than getting it stuck in customs. Cheers for getting back to me mate 👍
