I found one of these balls.. someone told me it's a "straight" ball. Played 25 holes with it, hitting it stupid straight. Lost it because I got cocky with how accurate I was shooting. Cutting corners etc. Gotta buy some.
The results I found were pretty crazy, shots I felt like I sliced massively went straight with a hint of fade. Shame they're illegal otherwise golf would be a whole lot easier haha
I’m going to buy some of these. They’re more expensive then I like but if it keeps me from losing a box of balls a round then they’ll pay for themselves.
I’ve played them. Best 9 holes I’ve ever played. Was concerned about the second shot when you can’t line up the ball as intended but those shots played okay too.
They say you need a 10.5° loft or better. I find they don't lose a ton of distance off my 16.5° 3 wood. I believe they have significantly less back spin because the center of the ball is smooth. Hence why I lose a ton of yardage with my 9°. It needs the extra altitude to make up for the loss of speed the results from it correcting itself
Most amatuers don't care about that rule to be honest. Also, many public courses, at least near me, run winter rules and/or lift and clean rules. Bigger point is, you aren't a pro and it is an illegal ball to use in the first place, so if you use it, it's for fun anyway.
You can buy them on Amazon, there are 50% self correct versions which give you more distance, and the 75% self-correct but will hurt your distance a little
Enjoyed the video! Good to see the perspective of an average golfer.
Thanks Jacob, I appreciate that man. 👍
Great video joe! Keep them coming
Thanks Steve, glad you enjoyed the video mate 👍

2:59 your welcome now you don’t have to go through a long ass intro
Was thinking of posting this Timestamp too. Ha.
Thanks mate
How do you hit your second shots? you cant touch the ball on the fairway....

I would somehow manage to slice it into the trees.
Surely all golf balls should be designed to fly straight lol
Only if hit properly
this corrects slices and hooks, no a ProV1 doesn’t magically fly straight
Most good golfers intentionally hit shaped shots for many different reasons. So for the good golfers this would actually hurt their game.
Where can I buy this ball? Or any other balls that do the same trick? Recommendations accepted 😂

@@davidji2030 not to mention hurt your game in a major way… you are cheating and not solving the issue of your swing
@@swinger2 well fortunately, about 99% of people play for fun and not in comps.
Nice
