When I was a teenager having an Etienne Aigner bag in burgundy was the thing with matching cordovan Weejun loafers. Everything old is new again!😂

This is absolutely wonderful, Gemma. I have a burgundy handbag that I've had for several years and now here you are giving such wonderful wardrobe pairings. I have a pair of olive green slim ankle jeans that I will now wear with my burgundy sweater and handbag. I also have grey, navy and camel in my wardrobe. Love this video. Thanks.

It's interesting how the color burgundy changes depending on the colors you're wearing with it. Next to camel the brown undertone stands out. Next to navy or grey, it looks more red. I really love burgundy!

My fav bag is a dark burgundy Longchamp. And I wear it like it's a neutral, it goes with most of my outfits! Thank you for your suggestions

A burgundy handbag is so versatile as it can be beautifully paired with other colours as you've suggested in this video. I always love your colour pairing formulas. Thank you, Gemma 💕

I love how you show us all these beautiful color combinations. Lots of inspiration and how we can use things were already have instead of buying more. That's a great influencer in my opinion.

I have a burgundy bag from Aspinal Of London and when I bought it I imagined it would be strictly a winter bag, but I was wrong. In summer it looks great with any floral pattern that has pink, yellow, gold or green in it.

This was a great reminder to pull out my burgundy bag! It doesn’t get enough use and this is the perfect time of year for it.

Lovely video as usual! The picture with the white sweater in your thumbnail has been on one of my pinterest boards forever, love that outfit and vibe. I just remembered I had a burgundy purse as a teenager which I adored and wore every single day. I might just have to get a new one😇

Unfortunately looks burgundy not so good on warm spring types like me. But I did this year an exception an bought a dress in burgundy but it's rather a light one. And it suits me😊 I will wear this wonderfull dress in this to me new colour on my birthday (New year Eve 😅).

I like most combinations a of red hue (burgundy, pink) with most greens, so long as they’re not too Christmassy. Going a bit lighter or darker, with tints, tones or shades, in the pieces often make these complementary hues look beautiful together. The Princess of Wales does this so well in her featured outfit; bright green and bright red wouldn’t work, but her burgundy and khaki green look fab. She is one of my style icons, she always looks elegant and stylish.

I use my burgundy bag a lot, almost as much as my most-worn taupe (my favorite neutral after white) one. I rarely use a black bag, I prefer lighter-colored outfits, so I don’t need black much. I love my true white (hard to find, so mine is a cheap, but leather one, still looking every spring), cream, navy, khaki green, medium blue and green, and pink ones, too, and of course, cognac brown (tan). If I do wear a black, navy or other dark-colored outfit, I think cognac or burgundy accessories often look better with them than somber, boring black. I like to match (more or less, the same hue) my bag to my footwear and belt, if any, I ignored the advice for those 25 years that “sets” weren’t stylish. Well, nothing that classic is ever out-of-style, in my opinion. I couldn’t see any elegance in something like a lime bag, purple shoes and orange belt, and similar rainbow combinations, that were pushed for so long. A coordinated set is elegant because it makes a simple, harmonious background that brings the clothes to the foreground, especially great for wearing a print or pattern. Today I’m wearing a knitted cream wool, collared, lady jacket and mini skirt set from Sezane, with taupe tights and matching thigh-high suede boots and my taupe bag. (And a taupe-on-white silk scarf, almost forgot). This outfit is warm, comfortable and elegant. (I love these “Betty Cardigan” lady jackets from Sezane, the addition of the collar is so flattering and the wool hardly itches at all).
