I love Navy and Tan, it’s amazing, but all the combinations look super chic
I don’t care if I look expensive or not, but I do want the very best quality I can afford! Wearing natural-fiber fabrics and genuine leather naturally looks more expensive, because it is🙂

A different way to express "looking expensive" is "not looking cheap." Looking expensive sounds better.
In my area (westcoast Canada) all it takes to look 'expensive' is to make a bit of an effort :) Whenever I feel out of place or over-the-top I think back to women in my life who seemed so glamorous, and how mesmerising it was and the joy it gave to everyone. There is nothing wrong with standing out for the right reasons :)

I love burgundy and black, my go to colors. Gray and camel go together very nicely too. I have a poncho/cape in those colors.

Great video, Gemma. Love all colour combinations. I adore forest/olive/khaki green with black or white, and camel paired with red is my favourite, also navy blue and tan/brown is luxurious while grey with beige/camel is lovely. All outfits suggested for this season are gorgeous and it's certainly getting much colder now here in the UK. You're always so classy. Thank you for all your wonderful content 🙏🏻💕
I adore navy and camel. I tend to wear navy in spring/summer and black/gray in winter. Camel is a huge part of my wardrobe so it gets added to both. I love that bright blue blouse on you.

After tiring of seeing way too much black on people of all ages , from athletic wear to ( classic ) formal wear , I'm now focusing on navy as my go-to foundation color . So many easy options year round !
These colour combinations are so chic and makes me understand why some of my outfits look flat. For instance, I have a navy raincoat but now understand that if I put a tan bag with it instead of my usual black it could look amazing. Thank you, have subscribed!

I'd love to know how you organize your closet...by item (pants, shirts, etc) or by color. Are sweaters folded or hung (I fold into a drawer..sometimes forget what's where). Love your channel. You inspire me to review, discard, and organize.
I too put folded sweaters / knits in drawers - I put them in color groups ( white , cream , camel together , blues together , black in their section , etc. ) . Same w/ things hanging in my closet w/ coordinating shoes shelved below & bags above . 💟
I have loved camel with navy or red, navy and burgundy, gray and camel, gray and red, since junior high school. I would sneak my MaMa’s burgundy sweater to wear with my navy skirt.(we couldn’t wear pants u til my jr year in high school.

Gray and camel seems odd to me. I try to keep warm tones together and cool tones together. I’d put taupe with gray, or cool tone browns with gray.
It seems weird but I've been wearing a camel (or caramel) coloured cashmere sweater with a grey jacket and it looks great. Maybe only certain fabrics or textures?

I wish people would stop saying "looking expensive." A person should not "look expensive." That implies they exchange certain services for money. You want your clothes to look expensive... your style.
I love all the color combinations but I don’t like them with the shoes. I don’t like tennis shoes with those navy pants. I’m not a tennis shoe girl though that is probably why.😊

I love camel but it looks pretty awful next to my face. So, I wear it as bottoms, or if a jacket or coat, with a soft-white, not yellowish cream, top. I just ordered a beautiful wool/cashmere blend camel coat from Banana Republic, their coats and blazers have breathable viscose/rayon linings! As I can wear polyester, which is such a ubiquitous lining fabric, I have been buying frequently from this brand this autumn season. I love your tomato red and camel outfits, both awful colors with my cool, soft coloring, Gemma, but perhaps I could get away with one with a white top. You are the best stylist, ever❤ (No brand affiliations, just a regular consumer who has to wear all-natural materials, but I like to mention that brands for us with this limitation).
Red can be a yellow base or a blue base. Try the blue base and see if you can war it. Good luck!
I’m the same Kimberly. What other brands have you found that are good with natural fibres and linings? A trick I have used in the past for jackets I already own with a polyester lining is to have a dressmaker stitch a large patch of viscose/rayon right around the armhole area. Not as good as an original viscose/rayon lining but it does make things much better for me.
