I take my big black bag everywhere I go 😊
God bless you as well :) thank you for the support. Stay safe, happy & healthy. 🤜🏻🤛🏻
Holly shit I commented before I saw the R. Crumb shirt!!!!! Omg My late father was an artist and he recreated characters in Crumb dark humor style of me and my mother. Looks 70's !! Love Love Love.
oh no way! that is so cool! Crumb is one of my favs, I have a true 70s keep on truckin poster. Your late father sounds like a really cool person!
Amazing haul, my eyes popped when I saw that Zorlac shirt though ! Vintage Texas skateboard company and awesome graphics by Pushead 👍
Spat my froffie out when you pulled that mania. Holy moly my insides feel funny 😮
wowza, what a stream of rocker shirts, never saw so many in one show. SO many I've never seen so this was an enjoyable tour. THX
Hands down, you run THE BEST Whatnot Shows! Love all those GD tees!
🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 that means a lot! Thank you, we try the best to bring good stuff at good prices.
Some info on the white Metallica shirt “in the TV”. That’s their homage to Thin Lizzy’s Jailbreak album. Hence “the Boys are Baclk” on the back,
ohhhh wow! thank you, appreciate the knowledge on that one!
This was a fun one to watch regardless of the 3 dry rots. There is some great ones in there for sure! Keep it coming!
Thanks! Will do!
Marvin The Martian!! Hell yeah. There was so much fire. Please update us on what shirts that Ally picks. I can't wait to see her in a video sporting some 80's fire. Perfect she's a small size cuz those first ones were def girl sizes.
Great collection! Nice video, brought up some memories of some of my favorite bands when I was in my teens! Some stuff I don't remember, but not too much memiry loss lol 😆 😂 😅 🤣! Now I am just old, and can't remember why I walked into a room trying to remember what I was looking for! Hahaha 😆 😆 😆 😆! It's fun getting old, painful at times, but I keep trucking 🚚 🛻 on! I love my reselling job! Have a great weekend 😀! Joe Bee from 🇨🇦 🍁 🇨🇦 Canada!
What a haul! I felt your excitement as you opened each one! Enjoy!
Great T-shirts beautiful graphics!! I am shocked how old shirts stay intact and the graphics stay so bright with no cracking. Good luck on what not ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️💜
My brothers and I followed the Grateful Dead on tour for years back in the day.
My brother has a Grateful Dead T-shirt from 1975. I have some from the 80’s.
There was a Grateful Dead tradition that went all the way back to the 70’s where people would buy extra tickets to hand to people at the show for FREE. It was called getting a miracle.
If you ever see film from the 70’s and 80’s of Grateful Dead shows you will see people on the street at a show holding up their hands clasp together with their two index fingers pointing up asking and hoping fora miracle ticket.
I was in Chapel Hill North Carolina at a show and the crowd had already gone into the show. Me and a group of people were standing at the entrance ramp when a guy pulled up on a golf cart and started handing out some extra tickets. He handed one to me and I turned around and handed it to a girl standing next to me.
I will never forget she ran up the ramp screaming “I got a miracle”.
So, in the tradition of the Grateful Dead I got a miracle ticket and I gave a miracle ticket.
I was there to do business in the parking lot and I had been to all the shows on so many tours that it was a bigger kick for me to give someone a miracle ticket.
There is a monument in Bethel New York on the Max Yasgur’s Farm where the Woodstock music festival was played and it has the names of all the bands that played at Woodstock. The Grateful Dead is there.
My favorite places on tour were Deer Creek Indiana, Eugene Oregon, Las Vegas, Orlando Florida, Miami Florida, Chicago, New York and I’m probably leaving out a couple if I thought about it.
Will my brother sell his GD shirt from 1975?
Not a chance.
If you went on tours with the Grateful Dead and I told you what business I was in, you would probably remember me. LOL
I had the longest lines. LOL.
Man, I love love stories like this! What cool memories you’ve got to make over the years. That’s what it’s all about, and that’s why I love vintage tees. Brings us back to those good memories.
Love you
Went to a lot of those concerts. After a couple of years the tees turned into car washing rags. Lol
Niiiiice! Bet they were awesome! A lot of people turned them into rags, that’s what’s makes them so valuable these days :)
That 1978 Queen shirt was made in the year I was born so at 45 years old it looked fabulous
Soooooo cool!!!!
You spent what I make in 2 months! Great scores, hope to be like you one day. You’re inspiring ❤
Thank you! We started small and grew over time :) you can definitely do it
You probably already know this, but in case you didn’t, 1998 King of the Ring is where Undertaker very famously threw Mankind off the cage and then through the cage. I think that shirt would have some enhanced collectibility and interest. Great purchase!
why why why did i not buy concert shirts and keep them in the 80s since i went to a concert almost every week in Rochester, Buffalo and Cuse i would be rich!!
I would have liked you commenting the valuation as you unboxed each shirt
Going to look at t shirts more closely now lollll
Thx
Love that first Twisted Sister tee!
Right! Wish that one fit me
I think it will fit me😂
Also Had that Metallica, GNR , faith no more shirt ! Went to that show! but I cannot find it anywhere tho!!😢
Awesome I was excited just watching you take the t shirts out, I just got my first band shirt, It is Jason Andean, now I keep more of a eye out, thank for sharing video
Rock on!
What a great haul!
Just wondering, even though you probably deal primarily with repeat sellers... when buying a large lot of vintage shirts (either known items like you had here or a mystery box of "guaranteed value")... have you ever been scammed? If so, could you share your story and warning signs for us??? If really interesting, maybe a dedicated video?
Another fire unboxing 🔥🔥🔥
Appreciate that!
Love your sailor moon tee bro. Awesome!
Thank you :) love it too
Any recommendations for sourcing vintage in lots ?
Bruh! So much fire!
Insane wrestling haul! 👏
i wasnt gonna watch all the video so many shirts, but i did i had to see whats next so many cool shirts
Thanks for watching! I had fun looking through them all too
Somebody mentioned the Metallica Club shirt that was Thin Lizzy inspired. Well, Metallica Club 1996 shirt is a takeoff of the cover of Rock And Roll Over by KISS. And the 1999 Metallica Club “Metallihead” shirt is a takeoff of the cover of Motörhead’s 1977 self-titled album. That Metallica 1991 shirt with their 4 heads in gray on it, I sold one with that front but a different back, from the 1991/1992 Black Album tour. It was not on a Metallica tag, but I bought it myself at a Metallica show in 1992 so I know it was legit! I sold it 2 years ago for $115. One exactly like the one you have sold on eBay recently for $170 so you should be able to do pretty well with that one.
Appreciate the knowledge 🙏🏻 thank you
Really nice haul thanks for the video
Thanks for watching!
Well, that was fun! 💰💰💰💰💰💰
I got scammed for that wrestlemania bootleg on Facebook marketplace 😂😭
The dry rot shirts might still sell, some ppl hang old bands shirts on their walls and stuff.
For sure! We’ve sold a bunch in the past :) still great art
👍👍👍
Fire
Do you still have the Boston & Blue Oyster Cult shirts???
Yes
Thank you, didn't know to look for dry rot on old black tees until watching this video....is it all old tee's or only black ones?
You’re welcome. It’s just black tees, mainly from the late 80s-early 2000s
awesome, thanks! @@RALLIROOTS
How do you know if they really are original tees?
th-cam.com/video/txhjuDSweEg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=d6nwF_QJ35rEmMDR
Wait so a cut Delta tag indicates it is a boot? Trying to understand how he figured it would be a cut tag
Correct. Manufactures would cut the tags of “flawed” blank tees and bootleggers would buy them to to print on at a discount
So where does someone aquire these kinds of things ? ☺️
we've worked with suppliers for years, it takes a lot of time, effort & money to find them and build relationships, there's no easy way to find suppliers unfortunately.
Hi how do you know if the band tshirts are not knock offs and not what was sold at the concerts by the band?
It’s mainly just experience. I’ve probably touched over 100,000 vintage tees over the years. This is a good video to watch on how to identify vintage tees th-cam.com/video/txhjuDSweEg/w-d-xo.htmlsi=AISnwEKVChj_0L5Z
Nice video. Im a subscriber.
Whats the name of the Song in the Intro please ?
Thanks
Anybody knowledgeable please reply soon
What is the significance of the cut tag?
2nd shirts sold by the company and printed by bootleggers without license
@@RALLIROOTS thank you for your response. I actually went looking for my answer online last night and went down a rabbit hole of vintage shirts and wow. I would of never guessed that you’d still be able to find them and that they sold for so much! Good for you!
no worries :) it's a fun rabbit hole to go down!@@notyourfriend5899
I am trying to do the math. How many shirts was that and what type of profits do you expect on average per puece?
We don't calculate profit per piece in our business. We focus on overall NET profit from all our streams of income. Our business operates on a 38-42% NET profit.
Rough profit you think yourll make ? I can see Allie in that last one very end of vid
Our business operates on a 40% net across the multiple revenue streams. We don’t monitor individual buys.
Those looked like infant size shirts.
Called the 80s and a lot of them ive already sold for great prices :) believe it or not, smaller people exist in this world.
overall we were a lot thinner back then.
@@charlotteking8123but he can’t time travel and sell them to skinny 80’s kids. They’re grown and overweight now.
all body types exist, especially outside of the US...we sell a TON of smaller sizes to Japan@@deztroyer76
When you have had time to price that load out can you let me know how much you want for the TAZ shirt would love to own it TAZ was my nickname when I was at work I have a TAZ tattoo the length of my right calf and there is no way I’m going to be able to sit to have one done on my back so that shirt would be amazing to wear. Thanks in advance Kev.
Hey hey Kev yeah for sure, shoot me an email or DM on instagram. Ryan@ryanroots.com
People were smaller back then . More raves n partying and less McDonald’s n pies lol
Facts lol
@@RALLIROOTSno Internet, less tv and not as much public / road transport. Growing up in the 90s we walked (occasional bus) everywhere. In the early 2000s hitch hiking was still safe here and still a thing. We spent our money on things other than food ;)
@@dreamcrazy37I mean I also grew up in the 90s it’s also a choice on how you handle your health, I’m in great shape but I workout 5 days a week and watch what I eat. Pretty simple. Bodies and genetics are also different, I don’t fit in 80s tees but it has nothing to do with being out of shape. I promise you 😆
Judis priest with iron maiden on the back makes me think the people are faking the shirts because iron maiden sue everyone over the Eddie picture.
I would look into it. 0

It’s a bootleg, not a fake
