Ricky Gervais is an inspiration to me. The guy started life in a working class background and has fought to get to where he is today. Legend. He's still humble too which you don't often see when people get a taste of the limelight.

Love this podcast and Ricky himself but its frustrating how in all of Ricky’s interviews no one ever mentions Karl or Steve. Those two are the ones that Ricky did his best work with; the office, Xfm, podcasts, idiot abroad etc. Just feels like a missed opportunity.
honestly infuriates me how ricky never seems to mention them, steve especially. he makes out like it's all his own work when in reality they did it all together, meanwhile watching any interviews with steve, he repeatedly mentions ricky
From what I’ve heard they don’t really keep in contact anymore and it’s bringing things that have been buried, if they want to talk about the other I’m sure they could bring them on as well for another podcast

Every single word that man says is true. The way he talks about the world is the same as me. Watching this podcast is crazy because I was sat there agreeing with everything he said because the way he says things is the same as me. Normally I'll watch a podcast and disagree with alot of stuff but I just can't everything he says is true and wish more people where like him. Not only is he funny but he's cleaver and he knows his stuff. The man's a true legend. Also I have a lot of opinions and views on certain things but it's hard for me to stand up and voice them as I have a lot mental health problems and I feel like people would jump to that. So to have someone that has the same views and opinions as me and someone who can voice them to more people is amazing and is a big inspiration for me to start speaking out and to start helping other people. Great podcast mate!

Cannot put into words how much this has made my life better seeing my idol sat with two of my favourite youtubers that I’ve followed since almost day one finally getting the recognition they deserve. I started to appreciate Ricky late on but HOW i appreciate him now. He seems like fame and fortune hasn't changed him, apart from being fkn minted! His thoughts and comedy are genuis and born of living a real life before the fame and fortune. I suspect Jane is his soul mate as well as his biggest supporter. Boy how sheets will have suffered over the years. I have watched afterlife and it is just as brilliant as Derrick. Ricky is also obviously loyal as many of his on screen actors are rewarded with being cast in new roles. I really like this as many of these actors are brilliant and don't get their chance Hollywood's air brushed system.

Listened to so much RG, from all the XFM shows multiple times and including most of his Sirius XM series, and absolutely love him to bits. I do find he often treads the same boards with his themes, but this was the one when I felt he most eloquently and succinctly talked about how (he feels) the creative process should be to the individual. He makes a lot of sense in that matter, for me spot on. Great Podcast! Really enjoyed this, the Wrighty and Shearer ones. Well done, chaps! You have earned a new listener. :)

It's wonderful to see and experience men sharing their life experiences, admitting where the mistakes were, the laughter and tears and true hugs at the end...King David whose heart was instantly knit together with Jonathan's and visa versa..he said their live surpassed that of women. They shared in the battles of life together. A true bond. A covenant relationship.

Every single word that man says is true. The way he talks about the world is the same as me. Watching this podcast is crazy because I was sat there agreeing with everything he said because the way he says things is the same as me. Normally I'll watch a podcast and disagree with alot of stuff but I just can't everything he says is true and wish more people where like him. Not only is he funny but he's cleaver and he knows his stuff. The man's a true legend. Also I have a lot of opinions and views on certain things but it's hard for me to stand up and voice them as I have a lot mental health problems and I feel like people would jump to that. So to have someone that has the same views and opinions as me and someone who can voice them to more people is amazing and is a big inspiration for me to start speaking out and to start helping other people. Great podcast mate!
That was brilliant, Ricky helps me personally to have this perspective of life that is positive and logical. That was such a natural and felt so good after watching this, just enhances the fact that good people over rule the bad and that is always something to remember. x
Cannot put into words how much this has made my life better seeing my idol sat with two of my favourite youtubers that I’ve followed since almost day one finally getting the recognition they deserve. They say don’t meet your idols but this changes everything owe you three the world and more.

I started to appreciate Ricky late on but HOW i appreciate him now. He seems like fame and fortune hasn't changed him, apart from being fkn minted! His thoughts and comedy are genuis and born of living a real life before the fame and fortune. I suspect Jane is his soul mate as well as his biggest supporter. Boy how sheets will have suffered over the years. I have watched afterlife and it is just as brilliant as Derrick. Ricky is also obviously loyal as many of his on screen actors are rewarded with being cast in new roles. I really like this as many of these actors are brilliant and don't get their chance Hollywood's air brushed system.

Listened to so much RG, from all the XFM shows multiple times and including most of his Sirius XM series, and absolutely love him to bits. I do find he often treads the same boards with his themes, but this was the one when I felt he most eloquently and succinctly talked about how (he feels) the creative process should be to the individual. He makes a lot of sense in that matter, for me spot on. Great Podcast! Really enjoyed this, the Wrighty and Shearer ones. Well done, chaps! You have earned a new listener. :)

Good interview. Been listening, watching Gervais since pre getting sacked days on xfm, when I lived in London. Haven’t seen him more relaxed & calmly responsive ever in an interview. It's wonderful to see and experience men sharing their life experiences, admitting where the mistakes were, the laughter and tears and true hugs at the end...King David whose heart was instantly knit together with Jonathan's and visa versa..he said their live surpassed that of women. They shared in the battles of life together. A true bond. A covenant relationship.
