using the lyft white ebikes theres def. no need for gears for most things.. though some hills are still a problem haha. could be solved by a bigger motor too, and i suspect this one would be too weak and it seems weaker than lyft's. its cool that its a carbon belt though.

Great observations. Funny thing is ebike commuters just really need 2 speeds... Maybe 3 at most.
