I have to disagree... a lot of shots in the first half of the break were just lucky positions and played unclean. It's still a 147 though, but a very lucky one 😋
U won't see a finer maxy. Flawless. Great to see the milkman hitting it sweet. He's one of those players that doesn't realise how much the genuine snooker fans love and appreciate his play
Agreed that that was one of the smoothest undramatic but beautiful to watch 147's ever. But still utterly incomprehensible that Ronnie did that famous 147 in just 5min 20 seconds (or 5.08!) without seemingly rushing at all. Just can't get my head round it and I have watched that 147 several times!
Just goes to show you how good professionals are. Many years ago I played a lot (as an amateur) for the best club and team in our area and managed to get a century once in a competitive match. However we had a professional at the club and he would regularly make 147’s in practice. He never got into the top 64 though. At this level it’s 95% mental as they are all capable of doing this every time they play. Well done to the Milkman this was a perfect break.
I question that regular 147s in practice lol. And even though the top 256 snooker players ranked by WPBSA in tournaments are considered as professionals, The skill levels still vary. Many of these players don't regularly knock in 147s on a practice table, 147 is still a very tricky break! Even as the standards have got higher and more of those maxes are being produced.
One of the fastest players on the circuit when he's in form. I don't mean in terms of shot time, but when he gets down on the shot he really gets on with it: pulls the cue back just once to get a sighter, trusts his initial judgment, then pulls the trigger.
Robert Milkins is one of those players that you know hes probably not capable enough to win more than they did in their career but you really hope he can win more tournaments before they retire. Always fun to watch when he gets it going
@Hamish Balfour we are lucky to have great sportsmsnship in Snooker. His adversary was not the least bit sour having watched this break. Clearly, quality Snooker milk floated his boat. Both were quick out of the Unigate, but Robert played like an Express. We can only Marvel at his talent. If he wins the event, this effort will seem like he only skimmed the surface of his potential. He clearly has the bottle to progress further. He's certainly crating history for himself. This run has been well worth watching. It's pasteurise so quickly but will stand the test of time. Hopefully, he will not go off the boil against his next opponent?
Excellent, and also, what a classy crowd the German's were that week. The way they tried to get behind Tom Ford in the final was fantastic. Well done the audience too 👏👏👏👏👏
Knowing your aponent has already got a 146 , and getting beaten 1.0 makes that even more stunning. !...That was one off , If not the most composed 147 I have ever see 😳
Poor initial break off, but almost flawless break from Milkins. Only the first cannon on the pink went a bit wrong, and he always had a safety margin with the leftmost red.
I bet there was no thought of a maximum until he broke the pack, but he could hardly have asked for a better spread and it was on from there! So decisive and yet so smooth and easy with it. Brilliant.
Great when The Milkman Delivers. Top player! This kinda stuff was always there, he just got lost on his rounds.. Now he’s going all around the houses, finally showing us what he can do
Very much like Jimmy White, outstanding natural talents and great to watch. but underachieved due to playing just that bit too quick and too many unforced errors.
Did he win £5K or something? I remember Jimmy getting £147K plus the high break prize at the Crucible. Shows just how much the overall standard has improved.
His placings were very good and impeccable. 👏 Good on you. Cheers.
Man, that was one of the smoothest 147s I've ever seen in my life. And I've seen some smooth 147s. Absolutely sensational from The Milkman!
yup he did it very smooth, but sad he lost 6-5 to ali carter today, and are you bulgarian, cuz your name is martin temelkov
You should be named Mr velvet your that SMOOTH
I have to disagree... a lot of shots in the first half of the break were just lucky positions and played unclean.
It's still a 147 though, but a very lucky one 😋
Smooth
Ronnie enters the chat
What a wonderful break. So good to see him make a maximum in such a prestigious event. Well done.
What an absolutely fantastic 147 👏🏻👏🏻
U won't see a finer maxy. Flawless. Great to see the milkman hitting it sweet. He's one of those players that doesn't realise how much the genuine snooker fans love and appreciate his play
Snookers definitely not a sport it's a game of skill timing and control
One of the most beautiful 147 I've ever seen , he made it look so easy😊
The Milk Man never Bottled one shot ,Bravo

I believe he is one of the most underrated player on tour.. That was a great performance with butter smooth cue action! Well done Milkins!
Beautiful 147 ... always great position ... well done mister milkman
He always looks so confident when he is playing well. great break the Milkman!
I like how he stands back from the table until he's made his mind up what shot to play, then executes it in a few seconds.
Refreshing to have it without commentary. Wonderfully smooth break. 👏🏻
Milkins is one of my favourite players :-)
Same, I watch a lot of snooker and this guy is undoubtedly one of the best to watch
Proper atmosphere
Yes Sir!!! 👍 It's amazing how fast Milkins can take the shot and still control the cue ball perfectly; I love it :)
Thought the same! Amazing
brilliant. he did that in great style. loved it. well done.
That is the smoothest 147 i have ever seen. He made it look so easy.
Relaxing to watch...WELL DONE!
Very impressive, Robert is a seasoned professional, and obviously a class act!
His control of the cueball was truly amazing!
that cue control andddd the accuracy in strength control is flawless.
Don't recall seeing a snooker player grip the cue all the way to the end and have such a long stroke to contact. Smooth, smooth
Exceptional. Reminds me of the Kirk Stevens 147 against Jimmy White.
great call
Phenomenal stuff.
Really well taken, nice stylish snooks.
Silky smooth, well done the Milkman 💪
Excelente partida. 👌👏
Superb stuff Rob Milkins!
Well done been around for ages great player
Brilliant, just brilliant 😎👍
His cue ball control is magnificent.
Well done. 👏👏👏
Fantastic

Agree 100 percent
The top 10 are all so consistent
whats the name of that professional player?

That was Really nice. One of the best.
Fantastic break, this guy certainly can play.
8:48 referee took his glove off to shake his hand... respect
One of the greatest players to watch especially when he’s hitting the sweet-spot. Come on Rob!! Win one for the lads!! 🎉
That cue action belongs in an art gallery.
Smooth AF! Made something incredibly difficult look almost straightforward.

RIP7OR ROCKS, THANK YOU DEEPLY.
You're welcome :)
@@rip70r35 Sorry, I spelt your name wrong, it should be RiP70R, sorry.
The Milkman delivers - a beautifully crafted break.
The milk man delivered, good on him. Played some great shots; good pots and some good recoveries when he got a little out of position.
Wunderbar!
The milkman certainly skimmed his way through that one.
It's at least the third he's churned out.
@@davidsmith5523 it was a smooth break overall but he clotted himself out of trouble a couple of times.
@@hamishbalfour he would have been cheesed off to have missed as the tension built. Udder fella congratulated him well.
@@davidsmith5523 it’s essential to have all limbs and digits intact in order to play at the optimum level. Robert definitely doesn’t lack toes.

Really like the enthousiasm of the German commentator ;-)

It was Milkins himself who had previously hit a 146 on the previous day.
Would like to see him win this tournament.hes been on the tour for a long time.good to watch dosnt muck about.
so smooth and clean omg
Brilliant rob very well played
Beautiful cueing. Wow.
Awesome.
Epic.
Beautiful to watch.
Who is this guy?
that was one of hardest ones im seen ,so many hard positional shots to play
Magnificent!
That was just a sweet 147 think he only slightly lost position on one red amazing.
Super maxi..some tricky last 6 reds..he really is flushing the cue ball..👍
great break

Well done milkins
With a shot clock, Milkins would be a top 5 player forever
That was a nervous green!
Sensational🔝🔥
There was some cracking shots in here
that was 8min 30. I know Ronnie's will never be beat, but this was RAPID
amazing Milkins
🥛 man is great to watch when in full flow. Geez , he looked fresh there. Let’s hope things don’t turn sour in the semi.
Shelling peas… total quality….
this was great play from rob he really gave chris a hiding here.a wake up call after shoot out win that this is real snooker.
Fantastic break.
Didn't show any nerves, and a minimalist gesture to celebrate the successful conclusion of the 147. Very likeable character.
Amazing!
From the first red it was perfection all the way . WOW
Milkman vs Jimmy White. That would be a nice match! 😃
Great to watch a 147 without stupid commentary.
Great!
Super!!!!!
Great 147 a few bad poitions but recovered to make a 147 snooker break fast and loose

nice run...what more can I say?!
Top he deserves ti win this tournament @
Bro got a 146 the next day
Why on earth did Eurosport not switch to the table to watch this 147 LIVE ????
As smooth as your regular milk delivery!
Great......se lo merece......
Super
Bout time you did summut. Should be winning more with that talent. Maybe it was the haircut that helped 🙂🙂
Robert Milkins is the greatest player of all time
No sign of nerves throughout that run, impressive
sending support
I didn't know Milky had it in him, but well done with some tricky shots
He has had at least two other 147 breaks in competition, by the way.
@@davidsmith5523 excellent
@@tonybarfridge4369 he lost today. Played whey better in the quarter final.
@@davidsmith5523 You can make a great clearance, but it's only one frame as they say

well done bob well done
Wait what, 146 into 147? dang
Smooth
