That's the first time I've watched a 147 live and what a 147 it was, some outstanding shots to keep the break going, congratulations Mark.
I was at the Ronnie and ding match and that was my first live snooker event. Best feeling ever.
Watching it live is something else! And when the commentators talk about it you always remember… oh I watched that one live! I can only imagine the thrill of being in the audience!

that was HUGE HUGE HUGE pressure that had to be like if not the best then at least 1 of the best 147s ever had to overcome so so so many really difficult pots

I was only searching his most recent 147 a couple nights ago, great stuff. Met him in November and watched him play some frames. Funny guy, well deserved
Was great seeing how relaxed and enjoying it he was, as the break was going on.
Probably helped him, because several of those shots were nerve-shredding, with 2000 people on the edge of their seat desperate to see them go in.
Dug him self into and out of trouble half a dozen times in this break. Wonderful stuff.

The thing I love most about this beautiful game is the mutual respect between everyone involved. Selby on his feet with massive smile on his face to congratulate his opponent before Mark had even fully left the table, then the ref rushing in to ensure a handshake is given. Wonderful stuff.

The fact that we now so many 147 breaks and so frequently, is testament to the fact that todays players are head and shoulders above the 'greats' of the past. Fair play to Mark in that one as there were so many difficult shots to play to keep it going.

it's amgazing!! nearly all hard shots since the last four reds, yellow, pink, and it is interesting that the angle of the 1st black is as narrow as the final black
That is right up there with one of the best 147 you will see. Some of the shots are so easy to miss but to keep his cool like that fair play amazing to watch.

The first live 147 I ever saw was Dings on Monday and now this. What a masters tournament this year is becoming.
Shot for shot, probably the best 147 ever. He ground it out to the max, absolutely unreal all the way. You can see how much Selby thought of it, he knows just what Allen did to get this.
Between this and the final frame clearance, Mark Allen nailed some truly extraordinary pots under pressure.
