      Bricksellerhub.com is a new site I launched a couple of weeks back for buying and selling entire stores, or bulk purchases inventory.

    "No rush" is not a concept that Brick Arena is familiar with - one of the fastest shippers in the west!

    My personal advice when it comes to store minimum would be to set it to 2 pounds as accepting smaller orders is genuinely a major waste of time these days. I've had that for a few years now and I don't think it's stopped too many people from shopping in my store. 2 pounds is not too much, but also not too little in my opinion.

      I'll probably revert to £1 - The trouble with putting any barriers in place is you don't know what you're missing out on. But then I'm not worried about missing out on a sub £1 order, but when your full-time you want to make sure your getting every pound possible.

    Congratulations on the Brickseller hub success, the first sale of many to come 😀(though I do agree with you, this is a long term investment, not something that falls under the get rich quick scheme of things).
    Minimum spend limits? I do note that our European cousins seem to favour putting in some limit (though one or two sites put a ridiculously high figure IMHO, £50+ is really pushing it), and yes a sale is a sale, but given the 20 p purchase, think there’s a good argument to reinstate the £1 threshold (I find that if the UK postage is more than what I am buying I feel cheated and add something to the order 😀).

      Thanks! The first of many I hope, though don't expect an avalanche of sales anytime soon. Seeing the orders that have landed this past week I think the £1 minimum will be making a return soon. It's just crazy that people will order 5p common part and pay £2 to have it posted.

    Hey Keith, Is the setting up of a Bricklink store & Brick owl the same process you taught all those many many years ago? Brickstore< Then upload file to Bricklink & Sync with Brick Owl? Anything changed from those earlier tutorials or do they still hold up to the test of time & how it works?

    • @BrickArena
      @BrickArena  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Without reviewing those videos I would say that nothing has changed at all. The platforms are pretty stable and don't change much at all.

      @@BrickArena ON a quick look the videos show you using the Brickstock program, am I right in thinking you use brickstore now?

      Yeah it’s brickstore now which replaced brickstock

      @@BrickArena Thanks I still have brickstore on my Mac from 5 years ago when I first watched the tutorials, Im rewatching them & need to find out what the brick freedom part is too.. saw a title saying Brickfreedom emails & Brickfreedom/brickognise intergration with Brick owl. It'll probably be easier once Ive got the workflow & understanding of the programs order of doing things.

      @WonderfulWorldOfStuff I do do paid one on one if that would work better for you.

    Oops, finger slipped.
    Right, KDDK Time.
    Have listened to the new BCC album. Really can’t make my mind up about BCC. Excellent musicians, great vocals (Hughes is in fine form), but the whole seems less than the sum of the parts. Bonomassa has been guilty in the past of being a little over prolific and releasing stuff that had filler, but when he is on form (Sloe Gin, modern classic as far as I am concerned) love listening to his stuff. But here? Tell Mrs Brick Arena to save her pounds.
    The Pineapple Thief on the other hand with their latest, highly recommended. And another (insert swear word) band that have been around for decades I hadn’t got around to listening to….
    And the latest offering from Andy Wilson / Tangent has a nice eclectic feel to it as well.
    Right, new Axel Rudy Pell arriving tomorrow, and just a few more days to Airbag (though apparently it’s already available on some less than reputable websites and reviews are good).

    • @BrickArena
      @BrickArena  2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I to have been on the BCC train and totally agree with you. There is something about them that just doesn't really click with me. I was a fan of GH once upon a time but I think his change to a more "gruff" vocal approach some years ago has left me wanting a bit. There is no doubt that he still has a great range, but it just doesn't grab me and I think his lyrics are pretty naff too. Same can be said for Bonnamasa, doesn't do a great deal for me. I did have high hopes that things would be good when I heard that funky keyboard riff on the second track but alas no.
      Not hear dog Pineapple Thief so will have to check them out. I have grabbed the Axel Rudi Pell but not had a listen yet so will have to report back on that. Picked up a few other things this week including Cross Purposes Live from Back Sabbath, a Tony Martin sabbath era bootleg, and a great remix of the Tommy Colin album Teaser.

    I would say that sales of low value supplies should be discouraged, don’t really want 100s of sellers of £10 worth of packing tape drop shipped from china would just be a waste of space, but I like the idea of the units that just sold, I would have wanted something like them myself but I didn’t visit the site for a few days.

    • @BrickArena
      @BrickArena  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Totally agree and that's definitely not the aim. But I think it is fine for people to sell say 50KG of used bulk, or 20 of the same sealed set etc. The storage that sold is a great example of the kind of thing that could sell well and in the past I have sold of £800 worth of unwanted organisers from the store I bought.

    • @peaxoop
      @peaxoop 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@BrickArena it’s difficult to define because that 50kg is £200-£500, and that would be fine or even lots of 20kg or 50x small sets, but a single ucs millennium falcon would not be right for the site, . I’m just starting but I’m thinking about saving all my sales to buy out a small store to get ahead of organisation and inventory

    • @BrickArena
      @BrickArena  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Agreed, that’s getting too granular. I’m not trying to turn this piston eBay, it’s aimed at store sellers, so items in bulk only
