Bidadi is a large industrial area of KIADB (Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board), of which Toyota is a part (around 500 acres) Lots of OEM suppliers area also there (japanese companies) who supply to Toyota. Bosch is another major industry. Wonder La is also located in Bidadi. Eagleton, a famous resort and Golf Course is also located in Bidadi.

I used travel in this train regularly in '80s during my engineering days in Mandya. That time it was single metre gauge line and train used to take around 3 1/2 hours to cover 140 kms. But covering this distance in 5 hours with so many unscheduled halts due to some maintenance work is really too much!!!!! You could have covered Mysuru-Bengaluru by road in 3 hours... Anyhow, thank you for bringing back my old memories😊

Approps your comment around 12 mins into the video, the Bangalore Mysore line was not converted to Broad Gauge in the 1980's. I've travelled in the MG Tippu Exp between Bangalore and Mysore in 1990. A web page dedicated to former railway minister CK Jaffer Sharief says the broad gauge (would have been single line) line was thrown open to traffic in 1993.
