This is the Sadam I usually go to as its just behind my housing area. You're right about the feel, the nasi kandar feel is different in KL and Penang. Not to say its not nice. It's like trying to compare eating okonomiyaki in Hiroshima and Osaka. They've got their own distinctive culture. There's a few around this area that's nice like Rawther and one in Hartamas side. Of course the main ones in KL are Yaseem, Kudu, Sithique.
Wow, u walk so far. From saddam segambut to Batu 3 jalan ipoh. Haha, actually saddam got one more branch nearby PWTC. I think more easy access from MRT sentul barat.
My goodness I'm super impressed with Jimmy walking from the nasi kandar spot all the way along to Jalan Ipoh and towards the KTM station under Malaysian sun is nuts ngl HAHAHAHA. GOOD JOB and kuddos!!!!!
Berkat zahid, rakyat negara terpedaya mendengar ceramah zahid. Orang Malabar ini datang ke mana-mana dengan visit visa dan bekerja di kedai-kedai dan melekatkan kepala mereka di hadapan kamera!
I think the drink you had is Bru Coffee. Its a prepackaged coffee pack. Very good and usually suggested by Nasi Kandar bosses if they want you to have something nice. Means he likes you!

Wow. This is way out there in Segambut. There is a MRT station nearby (Jalan Ipoh station) - the Sentul station is on the KTM Komuter line and is quite a bit further than the Jalan Ipoh station (the new Putrajaya MRT line - apparently it just opened in March 2023). I've never been to this part of KL - looks industrial. Tons of nasi kandar restaurants all over KL and PJ though, including one 100 meters from where I live.
the effort of jimmy to go back to the man who serve and pat on their back and say thank you before going home...so good it feels very local. regarding double park, actually we hate it..we try to avoid double park..but sometimes we cannot avoid. malaysia is very car centric countries..so many cars on road yet the infrastructure and parking is not many. if we do, we try not to push down the brake..so people can move forward and backward the car, and some people they left with notes (phone number), if they dont do all this, either they forgot and they totally inconsiderate. malaysian they try to avoid argument in public. but in the heart felt of course we may get angry if people being incosiderate like this, and some actually swear and curse in the car...not to the person.
You’re at segambut Jimmy. The high rise condo in the background is where I live. I’m back home in Singapore at the moment , I will be happy to show you around if I was there. My favourite nasi kandar though is still kayu nasi kandar , my favourite shop in kota damansara
You're not weird Jimmy for having wanting to experience the "local living area" 😂. Consider we swapped places, since i'm also amazed when i'm wandering alone at Kawagoe, Saitama 😆. I also felt i'm not supposed to be there, heck theres not a single tourist in sight... But somehow, the experience truly hita different when we walk thru residential area does it
ichang thks to you i went to KL and tried the street food in a vehicle and i told them its because of you i came to see them to try the drinks and the nasi lemak as well
It is always best to have hot drinks after having some greasy meal jst to be health conscious. U should try hot teh or kopi halia or spice tea whenever u stop by mamak stall... Very true when u said to look at places and how local live. Thts one thing we should not miss when travelling to foreign countries, really a treasured experience.
Hi, I'm from Kedah, so about the weather and temperature feeling you have, it was definitely true, the north of Malaysia such as Perak,Penang,Kedah and Perlis definitely more hot than the others state, especially during the heat waves on the last three months but now it already near monsoon and raining season so it become more colder than normal, so on the conclusion is you feel the the temperature at Penang at the time Malaysia become the hottest at one of the hottest state😂 and you feel the cool of temperature during the time Malaysia become the coolest
Sometimes we got no choice but have to block the way of another car, therefore, it's better you leave a contact no in your car where it's visible. The car owner can call you, so you can move your car away.
OMG! This is so near to your friend's office. Remember back in Hong Kong, Ezzwanee😂? She works just nearby😅 Anyway, thank you for review this Saddam❤ but if you want to know the most nostalgic Nasi Kandar still standing in Kuala Lumpur, Kudu Nasi Kandar🎉 is one of old time food stalls in KL..
In my opinion, Nasi Kandar by the Indian Hindus do not have beef dishes, because cow is one their god in Hindu. Nasi Kandar by the Mamak (Indian Muslim) do have beef dishes. 😁😁
Have some fun in malaysia, malaysian food, culture, and more2 special people in malaysia apreciate guess from any country....hope happy in malaysia, harigato guzaimas...
it your experience. So you have right to compare...other can say your opinion is not correct but in your experience your comparison is the truth for you..
hahaha that looks scary to me Jimmy 😂 but seeing you eat, thats delicious!! Good job Jimmy! I cant do that hahaha.. the OCD in me is freaking me out..all that pile of foods with all the kuah banjir on it. Great vlog!
Wow Kardashian plate of Nasi Kandar... I tried Sadam Nasi Kandar somewhere last month @Jalan Tuanku Abdul Rahman...just took Ayam Bawang...not bad la..

Fun Fact: In Malaysia we have fb group dedication to 1 food... like Nasi Kandar Hunters, Nasi Dagang Diggers... 😂... you are not allowed to discuss other foods...❤😊
for double park, besides beeping/honking, try check the car's dashboard. Usually regular double parkers leave their phone numbers on the dashboard, call them and they will come move the car.
I don't eat much Nasi Kandar to know any difference but i remember watching Shahnaz Ahmad (Malaysian celeb from Penang) saying KL's nasi kandar didn't lose to Penang's by any stretch.
hi jimmy...sadam nasi kandar stall that u have take your lunch before is very near from my working place at segambut industrial area, next time if I see u there I will join u and pay your nasi kandar...next time if u want to go u need go by rapid bus 250 or 190...no need to walking so far...
Nasi kandar is quite Authentic for Penang.I noticed when chan buy her rice when she ask for kari campur2 forgot to mention banjir.😊 Hope you guys enjoy Malaysia's multi culture.
For a moment, I was surprised it only cost about RM26-27 for chicken, squid, beef, salted egg. It's only after it's revealed that the beef was in fact actually a kicap fried egg, then it becomes standard KL price. Also, the additional drink was either a Bru coffee or Cham (mix of milk tea & coffee, coffee being usually Nescafe).
The coffee you took at Sadam is called Bru Coffee ... the coffee is from India & the milk used is usually fresh cow's milk.
He pinned the location! Hahaha jimmy, the way you make the vlog like we are the foreigner and you are Malaysian 😂

You’re slowly becoming a Malaysian already😂 We also sometimes crave nasi kandar. Can’t believe even a Japanese craves one 🤣🤣🤣
sembang apa lancau@@dgdfgbhjgdm
😅Jimmy San, you shouldn’t had different sauces put on the plate altogether. I feel worried whether your stomach can really take it or otherwise. 😅
Yeah bro, everytime during lunch time, me and my workmate eat nasi kandar. And everyday, we are craving and waiting for lunch hour to eat em haha. 😂
My goodness I'm super impressed with Jimmy walking from the nasi kandar spot all the way along to Jalan Ipoh and towards the KTM station under Malaysian sun is nuts ngl HAHAHAHA. GOOD JOB and kuddos!!!!!

The "correct" way to double park is to leave your contact number on the car so people can call you once the car you blocked wants to leave.
Wow Kardashian plate of Nasi Kandar...

Its BRU coffee. This Nasi Kandar is in Segambut. I have bought here many times. There is a nice kopitiam and chinese mix rice nearby.
for double park, besides beeping/honking, try check the car's dashboard. Usually regular double parkers leave their phone numbers on the dashboard, call them and they will come move the car.
