I have been to this shop many times many years ago until my sifu/boss underwent bypass then we stopped eating😅 Now watching this vlog I am starting to crave again. Some regulars would call in advance to book their favorite cuts coz by 11am theres not much left.

It's a local Chinese culture to have these big breakfast 😂 some regularly, others occasional
There is a very old English saying
'Breakfast like a king
Lunch like a Prince
Dinner like a peasant'
That way, your body can break down the meals better, and you don't go to bed on a full stomach as your metabolism is naturally slowing down

this kind of work ethic shouldn't be admired, taking 1 day off a year is a total waste of someone's life and it's actually quite sad that she has had to basically spend every day she's lived working just to survive.

So grandma directly boil all the marinated pork & it’s part? Cause my grandma recipe we should boil/blanch the pork/part first then rinse it to remove the awful smell
