And just to think they played like this drunker and under the influence of many things, better than anyone else could ever do lol an amazing band will never be another like it :)
For me hes the GOAT. Sure theres more technical players out there but none of them can write riffs like Dime did or have the groove he had. Outstanding.
THE MIGHTY PANTERA!! I watched them go from a bar band in North Texas to one of the biggest bands in the world! There will never be another like them!! 🤘
I remember meeting Phil at a local TV studio in Anaheim CA right around this time, CFH just released, he was doing an interview for a video show. He was by himself because the rest of the guys were too hungover Phil said. Lol He's such a down to earth guy. Lucky enough to have seen them live quite a few times.
Followed these cats from the beginning man. Dimebag was my favorite guitar player for all out thrashing and making it sing... The entire band was talented , in synch and blasting you with their energy constantly!!! I miss these guys a lot they were/are my all time favorite metal band. I'm 58 next month and if and when I hit 90 I'll still be head banging to Pantera... RIP Dime & Vince your missed by many..✌️
I wish I was on board since the beginning and could see the full evolution of the band. I only heard of them when Cowboys from Hell was released and it's still my favourite album of theirs.
This was the tour when I first saw them live. And it was one of the wildest shows I've ever been to. Thousands of people who knew this band was the next big thing who were DEVOTED to every song like it was their oxygen.
His pants kept breaking during the show but legend has it said by many groupies and dudes they say Phil had a legendary huge package it's been said and on a lot of shows/ documentaries
To me this performance at this show was the best I’ve seen from pantera!!! This and heresy !! They gave a 110 % and n this show!! Amazing performance!!!! I remember buying this vhs tape and watching it stoned back in the day!! Getting stoned in my Ford cortina in australia with my awesome stereo that was more expensive than a my car!!! I was 17!! 5 ppl in the car going to parties!!! Omg I’m mid 40s now !! Haha Memories!!!!
Este álbum es perfecto, cada tema es perfecto y pegajoso.... Enserio, y está canción es la última dé este álbum y en directo es la locura máxima....siiii malditos genios ❤️
They are incarnation of power metal, and a metal hero representing the 90’s. It is a pity that life as a band was short.😭 But,they burned completely.🔥 Exactly, they were like fireballs !!🔥 Heartfelt respect for them !!
Listen to these 2 songs, Avoid the Light and Immortally Insane. 2 previously unreleased tracks, perhaps 2 of their best, towards then end of the breakup. Both songs were on a separate movie soundtracks.
Other band members? That’s dime bag darrel playing the guitar and people need to realize he’s the best guitarist to ever live from simple cord to insane cord and dbd did himself what most bands at the time had two guitarist
You had it right, until you put the comma... But yeah - Metallica (Slayer, Anthrax, Megadeth) and the thrash transitioned into the Pantera groove which really transformed metal forever - good influences to have 🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
CFH technically isnt much different than Power metal . Also Pantera in 80's was old school heavy metal . Not glam. Everybody then wore Tight pants and Perm hair . Diamond darell was used until FBD Cd man
Rex was definitely the hardest working metal bass player of his time
He gets very little love, Pantera was the 90s heavy hitters and one of the best metal bands to ever grace this earth.
His bass always hit hard too 😮 😮
And just to think they played like this drunker and under the influence of many things, better than anyone else could ever do lol an amazing band will never be another like it :)
Alcohol was fuel Dimebag was the engine.
And not miss a fuckin' lick!
Long live dime!
That sums up about every band from the 80's. Lol. Van Halen for example. Try playing his stuff drunk. Lol
Honestly a large portion of the most influential musicians of all times weren't sober.....
Pantera is the best metal band of all time. No question.
One of the baddest metal bands to walk this planet.
Dimebag is one of - if the not the best heavy metal guitarist of all time
LOL!
@@anthonypalermo8816 oh yea? your top 10 rn. Go!

THE MIGHTY PANTERA!! I watched them go from a bar band in North Texas to one of the biggest bands in the world! There will never be another like them!! 🤘
Then you would know the very early yrs of Pantera.
Yup, straight from Joe's Garage to Moscow playing in front a million people. I saw them 5 times in Baltimore in the 90's.

I've never saw a better name to a song as this one, it's truly a demonstration of the art of shredding

Hail kings! Phil was probably flirting with a young lady in the front row. :) The eye crinkles and the tiny measurement! What a goofball.
His pants kept breaking during the show but legend has it said by many groupies and dudes they say Phil had a legendary huge package it's been said and on a lot of shows/ documentaries
All bow down to the mighty Dimebag!! 333 🤘
This band is very much so the pioneer of what metal became today. Somebody please try to prove me wrong.

I'm locked in for Dimebag being the greatest.

Is it Igor Cavalera requesting that Pantera video?
I would recommend PST 88 for a great Dimebag shred.
That was just phill's regular peen check.
pantera to me is the best metal band ever, next to only metallica

WAKE UP LOL
Dimebag used to be called Diamond in his glam days, Fin' poser.
And even then he was a better guitarist than you could ever hope to be.
Go rant elsewhere my man
