- Welcome to "Snake Eater Garage," where we'll be giving you an in-depth look at the cars that roll through our shop, and the work we do on them!
We're excited to debut Episode 1 with an absolute legend - the Impala SS, sporting the sought-after 409.
As much fun as this car is, we began to quickly realize there's a lot more work to be done than initially expected!

10:00 LOL! I love finding those types of wiring hacks and have found them mostly on old farm trucks and used up abandoned classic cars, not high dollar rare muscle cars for sale!😂
@@4eyefoxbodyfanclub625 dead on!! lol. Farm truck field repair is acceptable but paid shop work on a hot rod 🤮
Also, fixing someone elses butchered wiring is an absolute nightmare!!! American Autowire is an absolute awesome replacement kit!
@@CyrPerformance1 agreed. We just picked up a new under dash harness from H and H and it looks killer
It looks so nice, sad that it isn't nice where it counts. I know we all need to start somewhere and learn but whoever built and wired that car really needs to stay away from wiring and fabricating anything.
When you see all the other shoddy work it makes me doubt the credibility of the engine build / dyno numbers.
@@gofastwclass I agree since the owner likely paid for that work as well.
Hey Brad, not sure if you know the Holley trick but I've had several that loose the file in different instances. Go in and flash back to the oldest firmware you can download. Then flash in the newest updat firmware and build a new base file. I've been able to recover a few "bricked" Holley systems.
@@CyrPerformance1 I’ll try that! Thanks!
