with all the truck space I think our mom could buy groceries without even thinking of how to put all the groceries in the trunk. and with the twin-turbo v8's performance, our ben & jerry cookies and cream icecream will still be as frozen as glaciers in the northpole. such a practical performance car

With Panamera prices slowly going down for the 2019/2020 models and now Standard, e-hybrid, 4s being quite often below 90 000 USD/EUR, I see that GTS sport turismo is slowly also coming towards that benchmark, if same dynamic continues, for sub 90k price that sport turismo is starting to grow on me, lol. The recent drive with the M3 Touring somehow has restarted the interest for me for the Wagon designs... great great car.

I've always loved station wagons since the 60s but this this got to be the coolest ever. I saw one at a gas station yesterday. I could put my guitars and amp in this and get to a gig expeditiously and joyously.

"So few wagons still exist" and now this is gone, as well. Porsche has discontinued all versions of the Panamera Sport Turismo, at least in the US. Which breaks my heart, as I'm on my second one right now. It's virtually identical to the car in this video, except for the motor. Mine is a Turbo S. I'd planned on replacing it with the identical car in a couple of years when my warranty expires, but that is no longer an option. At this point I'm thinking of buying an extended warranty, so I could keep it for another few years. The only car I'd consider as a replacement is the Taycan Cross Turismo Turbo (or Turbo S), but only if range/infrastructure issues improve dramatically.
Hang on to it, baby it, cherish it. I just saw one at a gas station and was blown away. I don't know why they did away with wagons, or doing away with. These so-called SUV's all look the same and you only need so much headroom. I've always loved station wagons and four door sedans since my dad's 1967 Buick Sport Wagon with a tinted sky roof in the back seat.
That thing corners like crazy for the weight - very impressive.

First prototype 911 1963. 1966 first time a 911 enter Le Mans. Find it hard to believe Ferdinand was building his iconic sports car 3 years before their first Le Mans entry with that theory in mind. The switch was located on the left simply because it made the wiring loom shorter and required less copper wire to save money. Not as good a story but sometimes reality is not as interesting as a myth.

Kul bil. Jeg kjøpte Meg En 2019 Porsche Panamera. Den beste kvaliteten. Mens Mange Nordmenn kjører Tesla, kjører Jeg Porsche. Den ble kjøpt fra en autorisert forhandler I Oslo for 2.330.000 NOK (214.000 euro). Ikke så billig, men utmerket kvalitet, komfort, hastighet og pålitelighet. Dessuten er det mange I Norge fra Porshe som foretrekker akkurat denne modellen. Takk for omtalen!

@@MilesPerHryeah, Porsche is different from most other car manufacturers. Their sport mode tends to be more dramatic sounding than sport +. Sport + is more focused on hardcore driving, and sport actually sounds more aggressive.
The 718 cayman with sport exhaust is that way. It only makes pops and burbles in sport mode. Not in sport +.

Is GTS actually twin turbo? Or is it a naturally aspirated V8? I thought the GTS is a nat asp V8.
Post 2017 refresh there is no NA panamera anymore. The 13-16 GTS is NA

"3.5 seconds is quicker than Porsche's estimate of 3.7 seconds". Yeah, that is because you are using the 1ft rollout ON, which subtracts 0.3s off the time. If you didn't use launch control, that would have been a good 4.7-4.8 seconds.
He didn’t use 1ft rollout? And launch control is meant to launch the car to get the best 0-60 mph. I also don’t think without the launch control it would’ve 4.7-4.8 seconds more like 3.7-4 seconds
Porsche, along with every independent test, measure 0-60 with launch control. My timer does include 1-ft of rollout, but so does every other independent outlet.
