Does the siphon break immediately stop the back siphon? I built something similar and forgot about the siphon. Debating using a siphon break and/or check valve or just cutting the tube above the water line

Yes, the interior down pipe in the saltwater mixing station is cross drilled with holes above the water line for a siphon break.

just a quick note: RO water is good for drinking but not RODI water.

Looking to do something very similar here. Do you have any links for the 1/4 fitting you have for the acrylic tube? I found the acrylic tube on tap plastic as you said but can't find a connector.

Just a regular 1/4 plug-in fitting will do. I had some left over black bulkhead fittings from mist-king. Bulkreefsupply.com, home depot and many other places that carry plumbing parts for ro/di and ice makers should have them

Good video👍 what kind of switch are you using? And I assume its controlling your heater aswell?

DJ's Reef, it's a Leviton Wifi Plug connected via Wink app. I dont use a heater for the stored saltwater as the cooler water going to the display tank has very limited impact on temperature in such low quantities.

O ok. So what's the 2nd thing plugged in?

DJ's Reef, power cord to a surge protector. The GHL Doser Maxi is plugged into that.
