Hi I got this record as a gift 35 ound first time played it jump on sing for the moment and 8 mile song I was gutted so changed it .and same again .Iam a big fan gutted .anyone else got this .I’m a bit older he is great rapper ever
The intro track on Eminem’s Greatest Hits CD: ‘Curtain Call: The Hit’s’ (2005) when Eminem sings the song: ‘Girl You’re My World.’ The melody is a sample of the classic song: ANGEL BABY ~ Rosie & The Originals (1960)
He has truly transformed from one person to another. Look at his life. No father. Mom bringing home different men drinking and drugging…I really don’t see him having a childhood of receiving that caring mama kissing boo-boo or even making him something to eat. Here’s a box of Twinkies make it last for two weeks until I get my check. As she and whatever his name was retreat to the bedroom with bags of alcohol, high as hell, pockets stuffed with the drug cocktail of the night. Lots of pain, hurt, anger, and a bunch of crap you don’t even know what it is. That’s how it was for me. I can’t speak for Em. I can understand how it was possible to get deeper and deeper into his addiction. Self medicating to make the feelings, memories, nightmares just go quiet for a while. Just how I see it may have happened. Now he isn’t really Slim Shady anymore. He’s a man that has gotten clean, recognized his wrong doings made during his addiction and has been making amends sometimes through his music. I have experienced trauma since 8 weeks old up until about 6 yrs ago. I’ve held this shit in all that time… I will be 61 soon. I have finally found a therapist that I trust and we are barely scratching the surface of the beginning and I feel it’s too much. Things start clicking together and it’s overwhelming. I don’t know if I can handle it. I’m going to give it my all for my family. Now Em isn’t really Shady anymore and we can’t expect him to be exactly like Slim… but he will always a bit of Slim Shady in him. But now… he is getting to know himself and I think he will merge the two parts of himself. But I don’t see him going full out hardass gangster style like before. Yeah it’s like a different person now and is…. But at the same time he is both. It’s the same dude… how can you love him and call him the greatest then diss him? Especially when you take into consideration of what he has gone through and what he is going through now. The dude is the best!
i think this was about 2005 or 6, so he would've been addicted to those pills he got addicted to by then. which maybe was the cause of it? not sure how it works. you can tell he's not doing too well here though, his face is red, he's looking a bit chubby

@@MrRop-yp3wt i agree. greatest hits albums are pointless now
Not pointless for those who buy the physicals off the artist websites. Also if the label wants to fulfill an album number contract they make you do one or they put one out themselves that they control and own. Its better if the artist puts it together themself. Then with limited edition tshirt cd box sets and color vinyls its an appeal to the collector crowd.
You can tell that this video was recorded a long time ago because when he took the break he says “don’t touch that dial” 😮
“don’t click that link“ 😂
NGL, I’ve been a Stan since the first
Album. I love his Music.
I can't wait for curtain call 2
This interview was great love the instrumentals to his songs playing in the background as he speaks #legend
At the peak of his career he was tired of his fame that's what it does to you so glad he recovered and still in this game 20+ years now 💯💪🏻
10:36 the death of slim shady 😮
He’s an extremely self deprecating and humble guy
Can't wait for CC 2!!!!
why? i don't understand getting excited about a greatest hits album lol, it's just song's you've already heard a million times before lol
Young em lowkey seems like he'd be an entertaining youtuber based off this interview

EMINEM FORESHADOWS NEW 2024 ALBUM "TDOSS" WHAT THE...... 10:35
❤️ his music 💃🏽
This video is awesome
imagine having so many hits that you make part 2 of your greatest-hits-compilation-album
Just Eminem thing
at 7:48 Em had that mid 2010s TH-cam energy. A man ahead of his time.
"There's three new songs"
*Listens to them*
"There's two new songs"
Least he's honest and genuine when he says it has all the songs you already have but 3 more
jesus.. you can really tell here he was goig thru stuff, drugs, and sad
Every word he says sound musical
This album shaped my childhood ❤
1:05 😂
This dudes body of work is vast, deep, and incredible.
I thought Em had developed a facial tick in his later years but looking at this now I notice that he always had it.
i think this was about 2005 or 6, so he would've been addicted to those pills he got addicted to by then. which maybe was the cause of it? not sure how it works. you can tell he's not doing too well here though, his face is red, he's looking a bit chubby
06-07 was definitely not his best years, he had gained quite a lot of weigh at that time.
He got this tick after a fight He had when He was a child.
you can see he was very tired of his career
Of his career? Tired of drugs and going back to rehab.. he loves his career is why he still rap to this date
@@chekoflow8162 tired of drugs, rehab and his career...
@S l i m S h a d y ツ hahaha,.... Like You would know
@@chekoflow8162 this is very good documented and well accessible information
yes this was also around the time his best friend proof died, so he was just in a deep emotional rut
Fuck, I watched 12 minutes to hear him talk about "FACK" and he didn't talk about "FACK". Fack.
Same :(
He should start doing break downs again for the speds, he even said he will go slow for the speds
He was high as fuck during this time period, listen to how slow and slurred he is at times. He hides it very well tho
"So yeah, it is the death of Slim Shady."
....say that again?
Damn, this must’ve been like the peak of his drug addiction. Glad he’s sober now.
We need the same video for CC2
He talks about it on Paul Pod (Paul Rosenberg's Podcast)
He should do a updated video explaining track choices for cc2
The KING 🤴 ALWAYS Will be.🎤🎤🎤🎤🎤🎼🎼🎼🎼
*beat pumpin*
"And Id lay a couple lines
