His album Recovery literally saved my life from either suicide or what would of been a drug overdose. I'll never forget the first time I played that album, I literally cried tears of pain listening to "talking to myself" "going thru changes" "25 to life" "you're never over".

#1 she is an adult, even though our little girl will always be our little girl no matter what age they are, but #2 from present to past that statement doesnt seem to ring completely true because he appears to still be performing and producing more music. So she has either told him to continue on with his music or he wasnt as willing as he said he was. Or its just plum misinformation all the way around. Hopefully the media is right and they have a good relationship and she supports him as long as the family is safe.

Did you see his interview with Mike Tyson? It didn't really seem as if he thinks he's the Goat. It's difficult to imagine living legends can also meet people they are humbled by. Like a Messi or Beyonce getting uncomfortable when they meet one of their hero's for instance, seems surreal.

People saying Eminem is overrated... With the best album in the history of Hip Hop (Marshall Mathers LP), first rap to win an Oscar, and improving his lyrical skills every time he releases new songs... Tell me, who you think is better than him? ''I know haters are forever waiting for the day that they can say I fell off, they'll be celebrating''

Eminem, when you first came out in 99, I heard a song from you, "The real Slim Shady, on a friends CD. I said IMMEDIATELY "Who dat"? Lol. I went straight to the store & bought it. Marshall Mathers LP. I was about 29 then, and I've been with you ever since. I like the way you keep your business (family) to yourself & protect them from the media as much as you can. I love the way you love your child, as I love mine. To sum this up, you are the greatest musician since Elvis.

Bringing another man's daughter into thier lyrics in a negative way is the worst thing you can do to your career as s rapper. Ja rule should have known better than to not only do that to a top chart artist but to do that to the #1 artist known for coming back and ripping you apart down to the bone with his lyrics. I always liked em growing up in late 00s and early 10s.. like I thought he sure was the angry rapper but he had cool flow n whatever and really had mockingbird close to me.. but it wasn't until last month I did an Eminem marathon and just had personal connection. I was or still am in bad place mentally.. but Em's songs had me encouraged n relatable with him!
So now Im big fan.. n if I ever meet him I really think I'm gonna cry..

I wouldn't even define it as em is "maturing" or is now more mature. The special, and honestly one of the most attractive and original aspects of the art form , is the honestly and the lack of censorship. What's the point of music if u can't honestly express yourself or how u perceive the world. Slim shady is a alter ego. A character if u will which represents numerous ideas and understanding of human existence. It's a character who represents the human condition to the extreme. Slim shady is everything that humans represent at a extreme unrealistic level. All the different ideologies, philosophies, dogmas, and understandings that humans utilizes and create in life is all seen in the extreme. U can basically add anything u can think of in regards to how u understand or how u incisions humans in general. and that's what slim shady represents. Slim shady, the character is just a metaphor. Created and conceived like any other character in a book or film. It's all a part of ems artistry

Eminem is one of the most inconsistent rappers ever. I liked Slim Shady LP despite the monotonous drug references and shit like that. It was a good album and something I loved when I was 14 years old. The next year I had to buy The Marshall Mathers LP on day one along with everyone else in high school. I remember taking the after school bus to the nearest mall with 10 other classmates and buying it from The Wall (remember that store?) in the mall and then calling my mom to come pick me up. LOL Good times like that make me sad about how rap & hip-hop have degraded into mediocrity.

A thought....I like this guy. He struggled in life and he made it. Some people from the walk of urban life do not make it. He was the fortunate that did. As a boy, I grew up in the suburban area, I never experienced the violence as Eminem. One can only express what it's like in urban area's. He has proven it is unfortunate in the big violent city.

Eminem gave 2 Diamond albums, 8 Mile, an Oscar, some legendary kills, surprise performances (I'm jus guessing, not really sure but I think I watched a video), etc to Detroit.. That's called being humble and respectful even though you don't have to be.. And that's what a King/God is supposed to be..
