    Hey :) our wood is so wonky as well .... Saturday Andrius put the main beam up ... hmmmm it's twisted at the end and banana shape in the middle .. we paid thousands for it and it's so not forth that .. Gx

      The important thing is to draw a line along the ridge so the tiles later sit straight-ish...you can carve out the beam to seat the birds mouths OR cut the birds mouths to fit the line or a combination of both. In all events, things will move, so use a membrane and overlap it by more than is suggested.
      Once the tiles are on, the weight should hold things down...
      the beam will probably continue to twist as it dries, so inspect the apex and point it if needed!

      It is performed by a friend of ours...I don't like using the generic stuff from YT - you hear it all over & it detracts from the video!

    Good point Howard about why they don’t build their rafters further out than the wall plate, not sure I prefer that way but a valid point all the same. Your tiny build is coming on, well done mate !
