- In this video I showcase the sound of my 1988 Chevrolet Corvette. The setup is off-road H pipe with Catless midpipes and magnaflow mufflers. If you haven’t seen part one make sure to check out the install of the H pipe. If you have any questions let me know. Don’t forget to Subscribe for more content coming soon. We greatly appreciate it!
5:22 that sound was bad-ass!!! I ‘87 convertible with 11’s on the back and Magnaflows. Not sure if it happens to you but, a lot of Gen. Z always want to race me..🤣
Yeah I always had people wanting to race, it was always in the middle of traffic😂
How much you think this entire project cost?
Very nice. Been wanting to cam my 87. Was it difficult to tune after it was installed? Did it require a special tuned chip?
It was easy to tune, we just had to advance the timing a bit, no chip needed
@@apprenticeautomotive perfect thanks for letting me know.
Is there any drone? And if there is drone how bad is it? You looking to do the same thing to my 91 C4 and I'm a little hesitant due to the worry of having bad drone. Please let me know your thoughts. Thanks
The C4 does have a little drone with the current setup but nothing crazy. You can always buy bigger mufflers to lessen the drone but I think it’s pretty good!
any drone?
Not below 2000 RPM
I have the same engine out of a 89 vette with 60k miles to install in my 89 iroc how much more horses and torque do you feel? Was it worth the cam upgrade?
I never got a chance to Dyno the car but at a 20 roll I spin like crazy which ut never used to before. The cam for sure woke the L98 up. Just not great for top end
