Personally I put so much pressure on myself that if I get just a tiny bit more I get paralyzed... For some reason I always knew that it was a profession like any other, that you need to constantly study and improve yourself. I get pissed when people tell me I'm 'gifted' bc it's incredibly demeaning to all the time and effort I put into it
Totally understand. Problem when u don’t relax u can’t have a good creative outcome. Of course we can’t ensure a stress free work environment but I think u need to find ways to calm urself down. If someone is saying it to u and is not an artist just smile say thank u and know that they just don’t know. Not really ur job to educate them. Maybe they just want to be nice 🙂☀️ relax enjoy what u do and be a role model for people who have trouble working hard for their dreams 🌱

I am currently in a transition period from working a game industry adjacent job (resource sector animation) to tutoring game art/ being a freelance artist and its been a hell of a time balancing work and life. @Janos.Artzone Janos, some times I think that creativity is related to external experiences we have. I dont remember If was someone told me that, but the more "interactions" you have with the outside, the easier it gets to create. Imagination is like a puzzle that your our brain tries to solve 24/7. Like, when you are working on an artwork and you dont know how to make It more interesting and later, someone says a random word and you got one incredible ideia. Like, when Akira Toriyama was trying to create an superpower for Goku, his asked his wife for an random word, and now, almost everybody that read about manga knows Kamehameha 😆
