Kim Jung Gi was a true master, extraordinary talen,t a wonderful artist, and, this was afvideo fasciating video !!!!! One small constructive criticsm hoever. Please I would rather see ten drawings in detail rather than many out of focus pans that show you nothing. I am dizzy and unsatisfied after watching many parts of this video. Please don't get me wrong I enjoyed this video, your format was excellent and I stayed for the whole thing, but a would have rather seen more detail clearly. Yours sincerely and respectfully, Muffy.

I really like how simply you put it, just make art and share it everyday, and make every piece a personal one. But in a more pragmatic way, how to you make every piece a personal one? What does personal art mean to you? Is it just drawing things you like or are pasionate about? Does it mean drawing things that represent aspects of your real life ? Your memories, your past exepriences? Pieces that share your opinion on things? I’ve struggled a lot with wanting to find my style in art as most people I guess. This past year I’ve stopped making « original work » and been drawing fanart for the first time. It was kind of liberating. I feel that because what I draw is just fanart it doesn’t reflect on me. I get more engagement from those who enjoy those fandoms than when I posted original work, but the engagement is rarely anything to do with my actual work, more on the concept of the art. I’m bypassing the ‘I don’t have a style yet’ issue by drawing these characters in a hundred different styles, taken from other artists or other media. I feel like everyone on my feed is as confused as me as to what my style is. At least consciously emulating other styles makes me realise what I enjoy or don’t enjoy executing in those styles (like clean lineart is a nightmare). What attracted me to this video is the title, because it really feels like that is what I’m missing. I don’t know what I want to make art of. Fanart is fun, and it keeps me drawing instead of mulling over art I’m not making, but I do want to start making original work again. So I liked what you said about making art with your personality, making it personal. But I just don’t really know what that means. What does it mean for you? I wish there were therapists for artists Merry Christmas, thank you for the video

Good question, just made a short of a painting that features a Xenomorph, The Thing and of course Jesus if you can believe it.

I just discovered Jespers art a couple months back and hearing him say a magic card takes up 2 months to complete, takes things into perspective on how long the process is even for veterans like him lol as a newbie, sitting more than a day on a painting feels like its way tooooo long... The questions where great, so thanks for providing these interviews! :)

I remember how I bought a drawing tablet 6 years ago or so... was really disappointed when I realized I need drawing skills to draw on it xD Just buy some A4 paper and 0.5 liners until you get a habit to draw daily

Great guy, great personality. However, the idea of just enjoying creating art when you are not good enough to use its tools properly to express yourself is very alien to me. I have a desire for readiness that keeps me jaded but grinding nonstop. And If I sit down to just try to enjoy it, I get instant reality checks that can risk demotivating myself. Its unfortunate but its like, I have to learn first, enjoy later
