  • My pro wrestler buddy Ross Von Erich just got this 2018 Toyota Tacoma 4x4 Trd and wanted a Leveling kit put on, 3 inch lift in front and 2 inch lift on the back. This video will show you how to install a Leveling kit on your Tacoma.
    Same basic procedure for 2005 to 2019 tacoma 2wd or 4x4. Hope this video helps, enjoy!

    The way you explain things and make all the information easy to understand is not a common skill. Every word you said had meaning and you never lost me at any point. You certainly have a gift even though it might seem second nature to you. I don't know how long you've had your channel, but I can definitely envision you being a major youtuber if you wanted to go that route (you'd probably have to play the algorithms and stuff though). Thank you for the video.

    Someone switched all 4 shocks on that truck. Those blue shocks came off a Trd Sport model. Trd Off Roads come with the blue and yellow Bilstein shocks. Its going to be stiffer riding with those sport shocks and its likely going to need longer rear shocks with that 2" lift as there not long enough and will be topping out going over speed bumps.

      Its always best to. Doesn't usually throw it off much but you should get it checked anyway

    I orderd a 3 inch level kit and the spacers are 1.5 inch is that right

    • @FixItPhillip
      @FixItPhillip  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes. For a 3 inch lift the actual spacers in the front aren't 3 inches in height.

    OK, one thing I caught here, this is a TRD off road so it should have bilstein struts/shocks not Hitachi. I'd check into that

      I've always done the 3 front and 2 rear and it comes out good and pretty level. Never done a 3 front and 1 rear before

  • @4bvenom733
    @4bvenom733 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    Why, every 3 inch lift video never show the inside the lift suspenson how the uca actually sit

  • @jmyers6175
    @jmyers6175 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Not a leveling kit. This a full suspension lift fron t and back. Leveling is lifting front only.

    Thats a lot of droop on upper control arm, and the cv joint axle angle kinda cringy.
