- This is OUR VERY FIRST TIME in Seoul, South Korea!! We spend 3 days exploring this INCREDIBLE COUNTRY! We can't believe we are here!

It's normal in Korea to complain, I mean demonstrate in streets. Unlike in US, Koreans like to demonstrate alot. Some see it as their civic duty.
Hi! Yes we think it's great to demonstrate and to petition to make changes but for us because we don't understand the language or what they are supporting we didn't want to look like we stand or support something when we don't know what exactly is being said. Neither of us are from the USA we are a Canadian / British couple.

the first place you went to was a traditional fried chicken place and the second was a japanese bar type place, gotta keep watching but bring on the korean food!
Yes we usually always go to local night markets and enjoy local foods but because it was a short visit we just stayed local to our hotel (where the fried chicken place was and the Japanese restaurant was located) and when we went to the downtown area that was also rushed because we had a day at the DMZ and the area we were in, the picketing, rerouted our bus so we spent a long time trying to sort that out and figure our way back home. But I must say people like to also know what the over all food scene is like too. For example Leon loves trying Subway around the world because it can be so different.
Don't worry we are going back to explore the main cultural scenes of the city and the food etc.
We also want to check out a baseball game while we are there too. We loved our short but amazing time in Korea!

Yes that's why we showed it we thought it was interesting. It was a local neighbourhood near our hotel outside of Seoul where we stayed.

In Korea, toilets like that were used in 1980. I am also Korean, but I have never used one.
We were surprised at our first impressions of the bathrooms ha but they were much nicer in other places!

Yes we were surprised by the toilet too BUT it was an older area and I think it was nice to be able to offer facilities to the locals.

네, 정말 맞습니다. 우리는 보통 현지 시장이나 식품 시장에 가는데 이번 여행은 매우 짧은 여행이었고 우리의 초점은 DMZ에 있었습니다. 우리는 제대로 된 한국 투어를 하기 위해 꼭 돌아올 것입니다! 전 세계의 다양한 지하철을 시험해 보는 것도 재미있습니다!

Yes but this isn't how all of them are. Most are quite a bit nicer. I thought it was a clever way to provide toilet facilities to restaurant goers. Most washrooms that we saw were much nicer than this one so please don't expect most toilets to be this way!

주인이 화장실 신경 안쓰네.타일 좀 갖다 붙이고,변기 하루에 한 번씩 물 청소만해도 청결해 보일텐데.돈 벌어서 어디다 쓰냐.화장실 보니 입 맛 떨어지네.

아 그렇죠, 단순히 보여주기만 해서 판단하는 게 아닙니다. 방문객들이 화장실을 이용할 수 있는 곳이 있으면 참 좋을 것 같아요. 우리는 레스토랑이 마음에 들었고 한국 맥주와 치킨을 모두 즐긴 후 필요할 때 사용할 수 있는 화장실이 있다는 점에 감사했습니다!
