The physics of this little bikes is almost the same as of the "big ones". They do wheelies, they slide, they can perform "stoppies". The difference is - the driver is fixed. They don´t lean to perform weight distribution. There actually are RC-Bike models with this feature. But i haven´t seen such a bike in competition. And finally to answer your question - Yes! They use counter steering to initiate a turn.

MoepMoep-Movies I saw another video (Nitrorcx.com) that mentions RC motorbikes with a gyro system. Do competition RC motorbikes have a gyro system (to keep the bike upright) also? Or is that a feature all RC motorbikes have?
AFAIK there are two types of rc-bikes that utilize mechanical gyros. Offroad bikes and very tiny bikes like the Kyosho MiniZ MotoRacer. The race bikes pictured in this video are not allowed to make use of any kind of gyroscopic or any other stabilization system.
that lead bike sounded like it had a displacement advantage. Awesome stuff, i never knew this existed. Thanks for the introduction! Now to go empty my bank account.
no one knows. every theory has been proven to not be the reason. they just do seams good enough to engineer some awesome stuff though. toy crap that buzzes with a grinding noise sometimes incorporate mechanical gyros. they work great for a minute or two at 3mph. we use mems gyroscopic sensors to constantly make little steering corrections for stability at higher speeds but rc bikes go back farther than the mems technology does. yes, one could put a good gyro in a bike and that would be cool but, im referring to these race bikes specifically.
too bumpy. cannot make out shit. records look shaky but do able (isthatoneword or two? doable?) anyways but live is just totally out of the question without some major image stabilization. also i feel like vibrations and bumps are killing the camera. i noticed that every cam ive ran on the surface crapped out on me for no reason later. besides crash damage ive only lost one air only cam and like a half dozen that were shook like this. anyone who thinks they are going to just go drive a rc bike is retarded. fpv or not they are one of the hardest things ive done in rc and is why they are not as popular. put a camera on a crawler or something slow, not something 100mph and unstable as fuck.
John Doe Yeah I could totally see that with nitro power they would be way too much vibration but maybe on electric with a really smooth track it might be doable. ( Yes doable is a word )... And I totally agree with you that yes FPV cameras on surface vehicles tend to go out a lot because of vibrations I've been through quite a few board cams. The Polaroid cube and a gopro seem to hold up just fine to the vibration But I have rattled runcams and mobius to death. Those 9g pan and tilt gimbals last 30sec on an off-road vehicle.
I was wondering, is there a special addres you can buy that 2 speed transmission or.. should i just jack it off a 1/10 serpent car and mount it on the bike? i was thinking of putting a Picco P7R .21 Pro engine on my nitro bike with a 2 speed. Running on 25% nitro... or do you think thats a bit of an overkill?
Two strokes will be .12s and FS being .26s. The FS are so much more drivable most guys run them the two strokes are to peaky and in bikes that peaky power band is hard to handle unless you are on a wide open super fast track then everyone will run 2strokes but on tighter twisty-ier tracks FS rule. Plus the 2strokes are flipping BAD on the ultra sticky tired they burn them up so quick as where the smooth FS wont.
Thumbs up. Never seen anything like this - Amazing! It sounded like with the exception of the winner, they are two stroke engines. But, the winner's engine sounded like a four stroke. Was it?
I dont know how I ended up on RC racing videos. But can some one answer me this. Do these still use counter steering being on such small scale and all?
mac There used to be a track at Crystal palace park but you'd have to check if it's still up and running. You also need your own bike/car as well as membership and insurance. It's a very expensive hobby.
Adorable. Does left stick control lean somehow, like a weight on a servo or something? Bc otherwise how the fu?! Do they turn... Does the fork move just barely enough to cause the lean?? To google i go.
That is an awesome track. Wish the motorcycles had caught on here in the states. I have one sitting on my mantle. Although racing there I think I'd loose the bike watching the scenery :)
In my 58 years on this planet, I have managed to figure out or find out how most stuff works. How the fuck do these little gems work? Hopefully friend Google will tell me. I'm really intrigued...
I'm into everything Rc and am a motorcycle riding loving life long rider but knew nothing about this. I bash nitro monster trucks revo 3.3 being my best weapon and am a scale freak with the scx10 chassis. Also into airplanes my newest being the flyzone beaver. Where do I find one of these. I've seen the generic motocross style rcs but these are sweet I need info where and how much and what to get.
Dynikus those are custom built mostly Italian chassis, no TT bikes running there lol. There's a bunch of custom chassis builders around that make compitition quality bikes.

Didnt know these existed, that was bluddy brilliant
Same here they are spectacular
This is sooo awesome. It deserves to be more popular nowadays, with these powerful brushless systems.
First time i have seen this type of thing . I absolutely love it ! Thank you .
finally a person who can work a camera, thank you great video.....GOD BLESS all.,,,,
This by far, one of the coolest things I've ever seen, next to the real thing at super cycle weekend.
This is the coolest thing I've ever seen. Didn't know these bikes existed.
That looks like a lot of fun. Why have I not seen this til now? Thanx for sharing
Never knew these nitro bikes existed!!! Europe has all the toys!
I imagine the trend is Japanese
Crazy!! Gotta be extremely difficult to control.
I have to say great camera work on this vid!! Kudos
Wish I could be there :D An FPV Racing quadcopter Chase cam would do much better camera and filming work
Man that's insane!
Fantastic video. Very nice to see the bikes on Lostallo.
P.s: also good to hear a 4 stroke engine with two-gears transmission.
Now I have seen EVERYTHING!!!
I much prefer watching these things running when they have a "Rider" sitting on them. There funny. Pretty cool. Thanks for sharing.
Great video of that motorcycle race.
That's soooo kewl. I want to get one of these for my bf for his birfday!
And most of those guys were really good driver/operators too.
were thier 2 strokes and 4 strokes? thats what it sounds like. very cool
how do we know they're not giants?
exactly
This looks insanely fun but I think it's funny how it sounds like you're racing baby goats
That blew my mind how well the model is from the bike to the track the smoke it is amazing and beautiful
where did they find so many tiny people to ride those bikes
My thought to.
was there a little 4 stroke in the mix somewhere? :)
+muaythai193 The winning bike (blue bike @ 3:00) was actually a 4 stroke
+Andreas Ivo was it custom built with an airplane engine? who built it?
would love to get a 4 stroke
I could hear it too. Personally those little 2 strokers are screaming!
was the winning bike (blue bike @ 3:00) a 4 stroke ? ..engine wasn't as high revving
That's really cool. Thank you for posting.
Man, never seen anything like this. It looks so cool!!!
I would've bet that this was not possible.
Amazing Camera-work
Wow what a dream track! Nice work.
What a beautiful setting for a race track. Is that a kart track as well as RC?
It´s a RC-Track only! But - there are RC-Karts! th-cam.com/video/0CBpLZYxGRs/w-d-xo.html
First time seeing RC motorbikes. Do they naturally lean toward the ground for high speed turning or is there some weight mechanism that makes it lean?

This is so cool, I didn't even know that competitive RC-bike racing is a thing!
how do they stay up, do they have a balance system in them?
gyros
no one knows. every theory has been proven to not be the reason. they just do seams good enough to engineer some awesome stuff though.
toy crap that buzzes with a grinding noise sometimes incorporate mechanical gyros. they work great for a minute or two at 3mph.

yes, one could put a good gyro in a bike and that would be cool but, im referring to these race bikes specifically.
The secret is that those are actually tiny little guys PRETENDING to be made of plastic riding those bikes. ;)
Bartus I would think gyro.
Actually they only put Gyros Battery bikes they stay up the same way a real bike does balance
Would you be allowed to contend in a race like this using an FPV system?
Afaik the rulez don´t allow it. But who knows. Perhaps that´s the next level...

prime8 fpv awesome man. Awesome

Whoowwie I've never seen anything like this..... awesome!!
how much is it for a rc bike like that?
so good!
How on Earth is that possible?
Easy, on a flat Earth.
That is Awesome, but honestly I loved the surrounding hills and mountains. Just me and my GXR-750 cruising.....Peace
Cool stuff. Do they make RC Bikes bigger than this?
Afaik only smaller.
That was straight-up hilarious.
NICE!!! can't wait to get mine running again
It looks more real than cars somehow. Probly cos they have to go a bit slower?
Cars are literally doing 600+ mph scale size so of course its going to look less real.
So how how fast are they and what scale?
The fastest are going way over 100Km/h (62miles per hour) on the long straight. The scale is 1/5
Where can i get one of these?
nuova faor- if they still make something under 2 grand.
I was wondering, is there a special addres you can buy that 2 speed transmission or.. should i just jack it off a 1/10 serpent car and mount it on the bike? i was thinking of putting a Picco P7R .21 Pro engine on my nitro bike with a 2 speed. Amazing!!! That was awesome!! I want one!
Most watched rc on road race video or what
Love the little engine whine.what are these .12 or .15 engines ?
Wonder what the four stroke displacement compensation is.
Neat, are their rc bike races in the states? If so where.
Thumbs up. Never seen anything like this - Amazing! It sounded like with the exception of the winner, they are two stroke engines. But, the winner's engine sounded like a four stroke. Was it?
Amazing!!!...Being a fan of the real thing I couldn't help but have smile on while watching this. Is cute a proper thing to say in regards to this?
I dont know how I ended up on RC racing videos. But can some one answer me this. Do these still use counter steering being on such small scale and all?
This is in Switzerland, so it's probably the only motor sport allowed.
where could i possibly buy them!?!?
Amazing, I didnt know such a thing exsited...
ok heard about the rc car racing but bike too? wtf? where is all this new stuff coming from? and how much more awesome stuff do i not know?
I am speechless, just amazing
Would've been much better if squirrels were riding them
Matt Niven absolutely
do they get a helmet, knee pads, Boots & Full Leathers ?
Absolutely.Squirrels lives matter
Matt Niven They would've gone nuts
Good CALL Jeff.
Why does the blue bike (winner) sound almost like a 4 stroke compared to all the other normal screaming nitros?
that looks so cool i want to try this is there anywhere in the uk? anyone know a place?
mac There used to be a track at Crystal palace park but you'd have to check if it's still up and running. You also need your own bike/car as well as membership and insurance. It's a very expensive hobby.
cheers i thought as much probably be cheaper buying a real bike and going to a track day lol
mac Pretty much mate lol
thanks for the reply anyway bud
Excellent camera work dude. Sub'd
WOW! This is so Awesome!!
What scale is this?
awesome! now they need to make smaller go pros!
Yeah it must be
I've seen nano drones that have great video quality and there tiny..
Do you know what brand and sized engine the winner used?
Very nice, I've had cars a boat and planes but no bike , may have to look into that .👍🏼
I cant even fathom how the lead guy can control that rc bike so well. Even hitting the right lines, and braking points.
Never seen that before. Utterly insane! AND hilarious!
so what's the soundtrack at the last video ?
That is so cool! Looks like real racing but with giants walking around.
Adorable. Does left stick control lean somehow, like a weight on a servo or something? Bc otherwise how the fu?! Do they turn... Does the fork move just barely enough to cause the lean?? To google i go.
what is your first song ?
It´s a jingle included in iMovie. It is called "Yearbook"
Pretty damn impressive! Wish I could ride like that.
4everkokonut if you do ride like than on real life you'll be lapping f1 cars.
Gr8 skills man !!!
Congratulations.

The blue one is the colors from Polini right?
Muito show velho... Brincadeira de gente grande kkkk
4strokes & 2strokes ?
4strokes won ?
That is an awesome track. Wish the motorcycles had caught on here in the states. I have one sitting on my mantle. Although racing there I think I'd loose the bike watching the scenery :)
Very Good Job, and good video Crack;)
I love the smell of bean oil and nitro in the morning.
wow ok never mind, just read up, it IS a 4 stroke! holy crap thet valve train must be tiny! What rpm do these tiny 4 strokes pull?
In my 58 years on this planet, I have managed to figure out or find out how most stuff works. How the fuck do these little gems work? Hopefully friend Google will tell me. I'm really intrigued...
Still sounds better than modern F1 cars.
where the hell do you find minny bike racers ?
4 stroke rc bike ! Awesome !! ^^
That first place moto sounds like a Ducati. Imagine if it was painted red. Nice video!
it would be kool if they had an rc helicopter with a go pro camera following and recording the rsce.
😅And RC Safety cars then you've got MotoRC
You might want to place a go pro cam on that if you could.
I swear I can hear a Ducati :)
Remote Addicted a Ducati 2 stroke?
yeah. 999 i think
Remote Addicted the fucken thing probably broke down ?
The dry clutch. LOL *Former Monster owner.
i think the blue one was cheatin with one of this engines th-cam.com/video/42IaRZmmr3k/w-d-xo.html
Mr Ropez is perfect to take a course layout with out in out.like a real moto !
I'm into everything Rc and am a motorcycle riding loving life long rider but knew nothing about this. Not sure what these guys are running, but check out the thunder tiger fm1.
Dynikus those are custom built mostly Italian chassis, no TT bikes running there lol. There's a bunch of custom chassis builders around that make compitition quality bikes.
oh, I'm sure they're not running them, I was just saying that would be a fairly cheap and easy way to get into it.
That was Danny Pedrosa...he can fit on one of them.
you mean Danny Pedrobot?
Ashprr Danny tries real hard, but the truth is...He's done fuck all really on a factory Honda.
Cool, but needed more camera angles, like low to the track to give it a realistic look.
wow what a amazing spot for a rc track
very cool awesome racing
wow that is so frigging awesome!
They sound like if a 2 stroke bike took a drag off a helium balloon😁
awesome driving
