@@lawrencejames9828Hi, I bought my RAM from Gresham RAM in Gresham Oregon. Got Big discount from dealership, Black Friday+ other discounts an ram conquest discount trading in Ford. 2k We don't pay tax on vehicle in Oregon. Only a privalige fee . 150.00
Thanks for the video! Just took delivery on a Warlock in your build color from MarkDodge. $44k before TTL delivered to MI. Not as good as a deal mentioned above but not bad. There is a ton of value in this package and nothing you don’t need if you are looking for a daily driver that is ready to load up the trad bow and hit the woods. Motor is strong and rides great. Time will tell on MPG on this truck but with a 3:55 rear end and AT tires, it’s not likely it will hit the window sticker rating. Super happy with this purchase so far and a great replacement for my Ford Expedition EL. As far as MarkDodge goes, I had an OTD price in less than 15 mins and the whole process was smooth with no BS. They have it figured out. Can’t wait to take this to my local dealership 5 miles down the road for its 1k oil change. 😂
I just bought a 2025 Ram traded in my Gladiator for it. I got the Big Horn with the level 2 group, night edition, trailer brake controller, 392 gears and the standard output hurricane motor. 600 miles so far and it's been terrific and I'm avging 20 mpg. I didn't go with the warlock because I wanted the full center console and I also wanted heated seats and Alpine stereo system.. It was $16,000 off at the dealership also. So the truck was 62 sticker ended up being around 46 before fees and a little bit of a loss on the trade-in.
Couldn’t agree more Jason! This Warlock option has all the necessary things for offroad use and no other brand comes close to offering e-locker below 50-55k price! Warlock with 42-44k OTD would be a steal!! Now you have got me hooked on this, hopefully I can get one soon 🤞🏽
Ford Chevy and ram all offer rear lockers in their bare bones off-road trucks Ram warlock and ford Stx fx4 has selctable lockers and custom trailboss automatic rear lockers You can get all those trucks between 40-45 k otd
@baldomerovega65 you are correct. But the ram warlock has the lift, the tires, a true e locker (like ford) and also quality skidplates not plastic ones.
@baldomerovega65 i was referring to the ford fx4 stx. The chevy is great and love the trailboss. Wish it came with an e locker. The g80 is very good, but I love that ram is using a true e locker on the warlock at this amazing price point
Really wanna thank you for doing this review and breaking it down I’ve been shopping for trucks for quite some time and just can’t stomach. The prices that have been set in the marketplace. I’ve had high trim level F1 50s and just can’t justify them anymore. The criteria you set up in your build is pretty much what I was looking for. It’s likely that I’ll convert to ram and you kind of sealed the deal for me. Thank you again.
Very cool I remember last year they offered the tradesman with a power wagon option you could order instead of the trim they sold it as an option alot cheaper way down at the bottom of build sheet but this is amazing including the color great review thanks
If I personally was to buy a 1500 today, it would be a Silverado trail boss LT or a ZR2. But if you are a Ram man, definitely a warlock for a Ram 1500.
Nice truck. I would like a few more amenities, 4A and a larger infotainment screen being a few. Like that they are giving customers the option of a more basic off-road truck though 👍
Remember me telling you I was going to test drive it ?? Well I did and it’s awesome truck… I drove the custom trailboss with the 3.0 duramax and fell in love with it so bought that instead just liked the mpg on it and the fact it comes with auto locking differential, 2hi 4hi , 4 lo and 4 auto The ram warlock is an awesome truck by the way Hopefully you can compare Custom trailboss vs ram warlock vs Stx fx4 that would be awesome video Chevy custom trailboss offers 2.7 5.3 3.0 diesel Ford 2.7 and 5.0 coyote And ram only 3.0
Nice video. The reason the price changed in start of build is because at that point the website includes the current factory discount which can be seen better in the pricing summary or by clicking on the information button.
@Jason Samko , great review! I’ve had my eye on this truck for a while and the real life prices in the low $40k range are hard to beat by its competitors. My only gripe is a few more desirable options: 1) No heated seats? I get the work truck base but these are almost a standard option these days. 2) Less important but would’ve paid for usb ports or an outlet for the rear seats for those who have kids. Otherwise, checks all the boxes! Big Horn supposedly has an “Off Road” package but haven’t seen any in the wild yet with the Hurricane.
Sounds good! I do love leather wrapped stearing wheels though, in my experience they last longer, but thats pretty unimportant in the scheme of things.
@ I wasn’t referring to the transfer case, just the differentials. Wavetrac LSD’s are somewhat of a hybrid between gear and clutch, and that’s what I was referring to
@ I think something is being lost in translation with my text. To clarify, a 1/2 ton for daily driving/to and from job sites and light to moderate towing is the focus of my statement, and that high quality LSD’s instead open differentials would be preferred, at least for my purposes. The V6 Raptor has a LSD front differential option.
@adamg3911 if that's what your after then any truck with 4 auto will have a clutch system like you want. The raptor f150 doesn't have the torsen front axel anymore they dropped it in 2023
Bigger /higher number axle ratio number is NOT a higher gear ratio, it is a LOWER ratio/lower gearing (and visa-versa). Second time in 12 hours where I have listened to two separate and otherwise knowledgeable guys say this absolutely wrong.
I know that. Everyone that know about trucks and off road and towing knows that. If I said it differently relax. Everyone know what I ment. I talk fast and move fast. A slip is bound to happen
This trim is a $32-35k plus taxes & fees. I’ll sit for my new Ram this summer when pricing is more aligned with what Banks assessed value. Most importantly Reality.
All these dealers order the same spec trucks. Yet they offer only 1 at that cheap price. And the other ones, the price goes back up. Don't be fooled. They barely have forged blue sport trim rams anywhere
its cheaper because its giving you the incentives, they deduct automatically when you build it......click on the price it will show you no 6'4" box and auto 4WD is nice, dont know why they couldnt make that work... but yeah there are plenty of trucks that are affordable....saw some 2024 chevy silverdo 1500s in an LT going for 44k here in so cal.....cheaper trucks are around they just wont be high trims
That's not really true anymore with traction control. The system will detect wheel spin and engage the ABS pump to stop it transferring power to the wheel with traction.
@@Jason-Samko I understand. But, modern vehicles will quickly send power to the wheel with traction. :) I really enjoy your channel. Thanks for making good content.
The auto 4wd is nice. However when you or a buddy actually get stuck. I’ve heard when you demand a lot from 4wd in a 4auto diff, it burns the clutches in the diff up.
@dakotaracebrown yep 4 auto is just for on road and possibly slippy situations. Off road switch to 4 high and for tough obstacles go to 4 low is my recommendation
@ you motor boatin son of a bitch! You old sailor you! Where is she? Still in the house? 😂 movie?? 🍿 anywho, ok ok I get it.. but where I’m from if you called an engine a motor you got chewed out. Always stuck with me. I think the motor part in the company names always referred to the entire machine. Not the actual combustion engine.. but I digress.
Who cares I will not be buying a new vehicle for a long time because there's just way overpriced and they're killing the middle income bracket for buying new vehicles.
Good luck with that crappy hurricane engine. Ram/Stellantis quality has been in the toilet the last year and a half. Hell, they just had a stop sale on them for a safety issue back in October/november. This is a poor man’s truck that will give you nothing but problems, save your Pennie’s and buy a Chevy.
I bought one in November. 2025 Warlock. Forge blue. 44k OTD. Love it.
where and how did you manage to do that?

You can get better deals on the Big Horn with some options on it. Most dealers have several Big horns and maybe not any Warlocks.
Have you priced out a Tradesman with Pentastar V6 and the Off-road package?
I have not. But I'm gonna now out of curiosity
