It all comes full circle. Rawest Forest played a big part of the Mario RPG revolution in the cry out for Geno for Smash. This goes all the way back to the early days of TH-cam. Unbelievable feeling.

He was also recently hired to be a VA for One Piece (the English dub). He even animated many classics on Newgrounds, such as the NiN10Doh trilogy, and even the original form of this video. I was not aware of his work then. However, since I'm 14, it's amazing to see that an amazing animator and voice actor is still productive today!

Since Parody Rangers, Brawl Taunts, Niko Niko Douga, I followed a lot of his stuff, and I was around, what...I was 12 in 2005...so I was 15 when I saw the Parody Rangers Movie Trilogy. That was 15 years ago today. It came out on an October. I can't tell you how much it warms my heart that he's still inspiring people to this day. He was no different than any of us back then. He had no education or background, or anything. He's like Brendan Small in Home Movies. Just making these animations, dubbing cartoons, hosting collabs, working with other talented people. Even made an entire original animated series in TOME. It was all entirely silly and jerryrigged together nonsense, but it was also hilarious and impressive. He was in highschool when he did all that. I think he is in his 30's now, about the same age as me. The fact that he's still doing the same thing he's always done, and more? Hearing his voice in some of my favorite shows?? Amazing.

This was literally my favorite video on TH-cam when I was like 9 years old and thought it would be very cool if this is gonna be remade with better look and better animation. There's so much to love in this remake. One tiny detail I like is the snifit with a coffee cup during the princess's new "Let me escape" line, calling back to the original video's "coffee break" where that line was just silent.

I still remember when i was a kid playing games on my sister computer when i noticed a strange mario game in 3d that scares me, it started in a castle with strange looking koopas and a bowser i never believe could look like that. I leave the game because i didn't understand english and since kid never knew how to make progress in an rpg, but now after playing the remake, all those memories come back, so joyful

Oh my god yes. This means a helluva lot to me as the original Rawest Forest was one of my favorite animations on Newgrounds, and also was how I found your work all that long time ago. Thus beginning a rabbit hole of watching everything in your catalogue just about. The Parody Rangers, Brawl Taunts, everything. Yours and Erin's (Egoraptor's) work from that era are core childhood memories for me, even if I was only like 8 years old thus waaaaaaaaaay too young to be on Newgrounds.

I was merely 9 years old when the original came out. I was in primary school (UK), and now I’m 25 after Graduating university. This is a literal blast from the past, and this is PERFECT for the remake coming out. Amazing work to everyone involved in bringing my childhood back with this!

I am a Japanese who has been watching since the original version in 2007. I had been watching the original version on videos on the Internet since I was 8 years old. When the Super Mario RPG remake was announced, I immediately thought of the original version.

This song immediately came to mind when the remake was announced and hope for a updated version of this song and it definitely did not disappoint this song was great back in the day and it still is to this day now its even better thanks for the effort you all put into this

I still remember when i was a kid playing games on my sister computer when i noticed a strange mario game in 3d that scares me, it started in a castle with strange looking koopas and a bowser i never believe could look like that. I leave the game because i didn't understand english and since kid never knew how to make progress in an rpg, but now after playing the remake, all those memories come back, so joyful

Growing up watching the original on repeat I’m glad the talking parts and rapping parts are way more clear.

this song is literally what helped learn english back in like, 2011-12, and seeing it remade feels so surreal
I remember watching the first one for the first time and none stop listening to it for hours and I’m so glad it got remade plus now I can sing it fully due to the lyrics being more clear
That and the lyrics were changed slightly because the original had product-of-its-time slurs.
The original will always be an internet classic, but this is an improvement in almost every way!!! Amazing work!!!!!!
