  • See my honest review of CellAED, so far the smallest and cheapest external defibrillator in the world. Is that an option for first responders, bike units, urban SAR and civilians?

I would love to see how the internals fit in such a small package, its perfectly reasonable for the main electronics to fit but the capacitor and battery are a different story

I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a real device later this year, I'm on the waiting list.

That is amazing! The size of the device and it's simplicity. Did you try to use it during CPR? That cable looks short, so it could be problematic. Great channel BTW😉

Cheers for your kind words mate, the cable is extendable to almost 1 m so I don’t feel length being a problem buddy!

This looks promising indeed! However one thing to add to the possible "concerns" I personally noted was the 13mo shelf life promised which is rather short in comparison to other (albeit larger) AED's with 5 years and possibly even interchangeable battery packs. But of course, nothing's perfect and the size/price has to mean compromises somewhere.

Thank you kindly for your comment. You’re absolutely right but pls be advised that the manufacturer will replace it for free every year or after every use

They’ve changed it to nearly 3yrs now 👌

@@petejames9366 As far as I can see the current offering lasts 2 years, and it's a paid-for replacement (although you can subscribe to an annual fee for a cheaper replacement).

At approximately 800 bucks a unit and recommended replacement every year......cheaper to get a Onsite.
I like the idea of this device...but like all things the proof will be in the pudding as they say.
FIrst time watching your channel, nicely done, best of luck with it.
    Cheers from Canada.

I think you’re right, there is a huge discussion about in in the UK right now; how it can be effective and so on so on. Thanks for tuning in and stay with the channel - this week I will record the next episode, this time wound packing. Hope you will enjoy this one too!

800 a unit? What currency is that? It's £330 in the UK and replacement every 2-years.

I would love a Video or something discussing and getting additional Information and Attention on First Responder Apps like the GoodSAM App, or about registering in these Apps as well as registering your local AEDs, as many people don't know about the importance or the placement of public Defibrillators in their communites. Where are the existing ones and do they even still work? Are they registered in the local First Responder Systems? Keep up the good videos.👍🏻

Really neat concept. I just don't like how it has to be replaced every 12 months.

Common PADs pads arent pressed onto the patient as well. Thats not an issue. Same for the problem with large breast.
I would be more interested how a real unit performs if you put it on a advanced dummy that evaluates if it is detecting vfib correctly and if its apping a sufficient shock.

    • @groupcall6570
      @groupcall6570  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

I will respectfully disagree. Common pads SHOULD be pressed to achieve the proper adhesion and that’s every manufacturer’ advice. What happens “on the road” that’s completely different story…
The unit sensitivity has been checked by far more sophisticated equipment than I’d ever have so I’ve dropped this kind of test. According manufacturer, for VF this device “meets IEC/EN 60601-2-4 requirement with sensitivity > 90% and for pVT >75%”. Stay safe.
