Sorry I missed this live. I bought 2 blasters yesterday and pulled a Arjun Nammala on card auto. I did get my share of green but did get a 1st Bowman red of a player Ryan Burrowes.

I just snagged the 2019 Topps Opening Day Juan Soto SP No Hat PSA 9 (Pop 7, only 14 total at PSA) for under $250 on ebay. It had been sitting there for a long time too. Not sure why it was that cheap or why it took me so long to BIN.

I go deep and hard on all 4 of 'em...I gotta draw the line somewhere... those 4 and my whiskey's . I'll throw a few dollars on a cigar or two~ Liga Privada's ~~Thumbs UP !
That’s quite a foursome to hitch your wagon to. Two of the four have been amazing and the other two are showing signs of breaking out. Bottoms up! 🥃
They did a great job with the inserts in this years bowman. Cards look really good and there making them more rare.
The anime cards look really good in person
Yeah I have yet to see any of these cards in hand, but as much as the base design isn’t great, I would love to see those inserts.
Bowman...as many cards purchased, I've never have purchased the product, any of it. I might try it looks fun. I stopped prospecting.....when Eric Chavez went pro!
Eric Chavez! A blast from the past! I love Bowman, it’s just getting so expensive. So I don’t really open the packs anymore, I just buy the singles that I want.

Thanks man! Yeah, one thing Freeman has been over the last several seasons is Mr. Consistency. Even though he’s not quite playing up to his high standards this year yet, Free is still a key cog in the Dodgers lineup.
I trust that Olson (and Riley and Acuña) will get going. As I said on the show, it’s actually kind of scary how good the Braves have been, even without their studs hitting very well.

I personally rip tons of wax. I don’t rip much bowman anymore mainly because of the prices on wax on release. I see this one dropping down the road. I know you said this isn’t a product for you but if you were to rip some. I recommend buying 8- 10 blasters instead of a hobby. Blasters have been very good and you will have a lot more hits then 1 hobby. Also, blasters are pretty juiced on the first run or two. That’s also been the trend on all releases/boxes but it’s very obvious in regard to retail.

I like the price point of course, but those paper sticker autos would really irritate me.
But now way we’re dropping $300+ or $500+ on hobby boxes.

What is Braves nation feeling now on Freddie Freeman vs Matt Olson? I remember reading lots of fan comments when Freeman left and Olson was picked up that congratulated the team for picking up a younger player with equal or better performance moving forward, for better value. Is there anything overall sick regret? Anything akin to Red Sox letting Betts go?
There’s always going to be regret about Freeman becoming a dodger - but it was his agents who screwed the whole thing up. Buster Olney did a full breakdown in an espn article but basically his agents told the Braves it would take X amount to sign him. Final offer or he’s leaving. It was a crazy amount so their hands were tied and they traded for Olson.
Of course not only did Freeman NOT have that offer from another team, but he didn’t know what his agents were doing. He was blindsided and heartbroken - don’t forget, he fired his agents after his first trip Atlanta as a dodger.
Olson will be fine. He can be streaky, moreso than Freddie who’s like a human metronome.
He’s 4 years younger with seemingly unlimited power. His cold spell is rough to watch but his hit streaks will carry the team!
His breakout is coming!
Red Sox letting Betts go was one of the dumbest MLB moves of the 21st century. The Sox have nothing - NOTHING - to show for one of the best players to ever play for them. Bloom was either the worst GM in their history or there’s someone else I can’t remember lol.
The 2018 team was dominant and now 6 years later only Devers remains. Remarkable.
Bowman products seems like there made for the straight gambles at this point.

Olson will hit better, but when I watch him, he really reminds me of Adam LaRoche, tons of power, but man when he slumped he was dreadful! I still think he going to be vital to the season.

I may have drunk the blabbin koolaid, but How can rookie ssp’s not be the most sought after cards in the hobbies. No weird parallels and low psa 10 counts. Still dont know how ohtani hand on helmet isnt an 30-40k card
Hard to argue with this! And while they may never reach the popularity heights of the black and gold numbered parallels, I think SSPs WILL have their day!
kershaw , verlander, greinke, gerrit cole and Schzer. The last 5 pitchers to ever get in baseball HOF. other then Ohtani. By 2034 the Pitchers wont even be allowed to acrude HOF votes, Spencer strider was my last hope that this wasnt true. but its official now.
