Thats why I love Japan, the strong bond to their traditions although the country is very industrialized and the technology standards are very high as well. You can walk around in Tokyo in a Kimono and nobody cares, if you get some views its probably because you look so beautiful. Here in Switzerland if you walk around in a swiss traditional costume in Zurch or other big cities, mostly the ones which are not near the alps, the people will think whats wrong with you, specially when you have no cows with you^^
