@@Robbyrevz yes lad look forward to it! My wife is asking are you from Filipino heritage? My wife is from Mindanao Philippines she’s convinced your Filipino too
The Clarets 87 thanks bro! And yes I am! Hahah that’s awesome man. My parents are from Manila but are Kapangpangan. Tell your wife I say “hi kumusta ka” haha
Awesome Video...I am in the process of putting on the RS grill on my 2010 B8...I was wondering if I had to place the car on jacks, is it possible to take off the grill without putting the car on jacks?
Looks good bro! Great video. I am about to do the same to my b8. I was wondering how the paint held up with the 2 coats of primer, 4 gloss black, and 1 clear coat. Do you wish you would have done more coats or is it holding up just fine? Also, do you think it is necessary to sand the crash bar down prior to hitting it with the primer? Thanks man!
Thanks man! It honestly is still holding up very well. I don’t think any more coats was needed or sanding. It isn’t a fully exposed part so you should be good with how I did it.
You’re totally right. Forgot to mention that last time I got my grille installed we ended up moving that sensor towards the radiator and mounted it on there. But yeah typically it would connected to the grille
This is an odd question. But where are the horns located? I’ve read somewhere that it’s near the crash bar but I’m not really seeing it in the video. Can you confirm if that’s where they are? I need to replace one on my B8. Thanks!
you'll hardly tell any difference since it will blend in with the grille. But it wont look bad. i also feel flat black wont reflect as much when the light hits it
@@Robbyrevz thanks for the reply, that’s exactly what the shop said to do for mine seems simple how much was it ? They are just throwing a pipe and welding the tips on is pretty much what he said
@@Robbyrevz it looks like a small gap between the hood and the grille. Maybe its the angle but ive seen it on a few other similar videos and they mentioned seeing a gap as well. not sure if that can be fixed or just how it is.
Robbyrevz lol I was being dumb the screw that I was trying to unscrew wasn’t the one 😂I wasted so much time trying. I later found the 10mm bolt that I had to take off and it was a little smooth after that although I struggled a bit taking the grill off that was a pain as well 😂
I don’t have the link on me right now but I’ll be uploading a new video talking about all my parts and providing the links! It should be live by tonight or tomorrow!
Don't know about the B8 but on the B7 you can just remove the grill held on by 6 screws instead of the whole bumper. th-cam.com/video/ZIkxlMAjpMA/w-d-xo.html

It is possible you’ll just have to move the wheel a lot I did it with 1” fender to lip gap

Thank you so much! How much did you wait before each coat of paint?
No problem. I waited about 10-15 min
clean build my guy ! was thinking about the front lip for my A4 B8.
Thanks brotha! Yeah man I love this lip
I used black plastidip on mine and I've never had any issues with peeling or fading. Didn't even use primer either
Where'd you get the lip?
Hey so aren’t there sensors connected behind the grill also? When I saw other videos they had connectors behind mesh area
You’re totally right. Forgot to mention that last time I got my grille installed we ended up moving that sensor towards the radiator and mounted it on there. But yeah typically it would connected to the grille
I assume this hasn't changed for the B8.5?
Would it be a good idea to remove the crash bar and paint it on the floor or should you just leave it and paint it where it is
I say paint it where it is. No need to remove it.
This is an odd question. But where are the horns located? I’ve read somewhere that it’s near the crash bar but I’m not really seeing it in the video. Can you confirm if that’s where they are? I need to replace one on my B8. Thanks!
Dain Bender i believe it’s behind the front bumper underneath the driver side headlight!
would a mat black or flat spray be better?
you'll hardly tell any difference since it will blend in with the grille. But it wont look bad. i also feel flat black wont reflect as much when the light hits it
Do you know if those grills fit Audi A4 2.0t 2006 sedan
No it wont. 2006 is a different chassis
But you can find one with a similar style for your car
Awesome content my dude
Thank you!
Did you just run a y pipe for the quad ? Do you need a heat shield?
no y pipe actually. i just got the right pipe welded on to the left with an opening in between. no heat shield... been fine!

NYM4Benny 22 yeah dude. It’ll be good to at least have the dual exit. I believe it was a little over $100.
NYM4Benny 22 your rear bumper already has dual exit openings?
@@Robbyrevz I bought the quad diffuser ya
You should add a 3M tape double face (3M™ Automotive Acrylic Plus Attachment Tape)

same steps to a b8 s4 right?
Would of never found those bolts under the light thx (btw mine were t25 torques
Glad the video helped!
Hey man where did you get your RS4 grille?
I got it off eBay! It was around $100-$150. fits good too.
Question... So, I am getting a new bumper. How do I remove my grill from the old bumper? I have the same grill as you.
You unclip the old grille. You'll see tabs all around it.
Robbyrevz Got It! Thanks Buddy!
I noticed that the hood doesn’t look flush is this common with this grille?
Quentin Garrett mmm no it’s pretty flushed imo. Nothing I’ve ever noticed
@@Robbyrevz it looks like a small gap between the hood and the grille. Maybe its the angle but ive seen it on a few other similar videos and they mentioned seeing a gap as well. not sure if that can be fixed or just how it is.
Quentin Garrett I see what you’re saying. In person doesn’t look as obvious and certain angles. But yeah probably the way it’s made
@@Robbyrevz all good im still ordering it lol
Try Truck Bedliner next time. It will hold up better. From rocks and wear
Oh wow, I would have never thought of that. That sounds legit. Thanks!

nice man! congrats. yeah go to ebay. you'll find a lot of them. follow me on ig would love to see the progress of your new a4
what’s your exhaust set up bro?
Just deleted both resonators and the muffler. 2.5in piping and 4in on the quad tips. Wanna go full 3 inch soon so get an actual exhaust system
