I definitely clamored for a gambit ban during Teal Mask era, but gambit is fr more tame in this meta where more checks exist like gliscor, moon, Val, lando, tusk, bulky rocky helmet mons like corv and heatran. This is just my opinion but I don’t feel like gambit gets nearly as many reverse 6-0 wins as it did during teal masks, and sucker punch 50-50s are just a product of gambit being a good Mon on a lot of teams, but not op, in my opinion.

It’s Special Defense is a glaring weakness that can be exploited by the hard hitting special attackers like Arceus, Mewtwo, and Rayquaza. Even with Assault Vest it’s likely getting 2HKO. The whole reason it got banned from OU was because the tier couldn’t hit it hard enough.

Alot of new pokemon are busted. Tera has resulted in a few extreme cases, and the lack of hazard removal + Gold makes defensive pokemon less of a check than before, paired with the fact recovery was nerfed, and some key defensive pokes (Fini, ferro, etc) aren't here makes a very warped meta.

You forgot the mention the fact that mons were running earth power instead of eq just to reliably 1v1 arch (lando and treads for example) and running ep means your ground type turns into raging bolt fodder, which surprise, surprise, is one of arch's best partners.
Also worrh noting Arch could screw over teams with unexpected coverage. Switch in Clodsire? Eat this EQ with some Attack investment. Suddenly your best answer ro Arch was an wasy 2HKO for this thing. Then what do you do? And remember, you've got Arch's teammates in the back waiting for your team to get whittled down

This was 100% gonna get banned from OU. Archaludon walls anything that could hit Pelipper hard, and Stamina + Assault Vest + Rain means pretty much nothing in OU could stop Archaludon from getting in and just decimating your team.
The arbitrary rules created by the fanbase would make this mon a pseudo pseudo legendary. It has the stat spread but the means in which it was introduced are what limit it. If it was introduced in the same gen as Pult people would have considered it the second pseudo of Gen 8 but because it was introduced in Gen 9 apart from it's prevo means it doesn't qualify. It also doesn't count because every other pseudo has three stages and dura is a two stage mon. Arbitrary as it may be these are the rules the community classifys mons on.

This is to put it on & against teams of Pokemon of similar strength. If you'd like to use it, you're more than welcome to in private games or any tier above OU. 75% of votes were in favor of it's ban, so it's not even as if it being moved a tier up is a controversial change.

That's understandable but crazy at the same time it has so many advantages towards many types and stats it's basically a giant tank just waiting to knock everyone else down
