Orphan of Kos has got to be the most 80’s death metal boss in existence.
The boss that just goes absolutely berserk with its attacks - looking at you, Kos - are some of the more awesome ones.
The second half of Laurence's fight gave me flashbacks to Quelaag's boss battle.
This DLC is no joke. Harder than the Defiled Chalice imo.
I killed all the boss in dlc and I defeated orphan of kos on my fourth try but I summoned 2 players lol I wish they add more boses
In the defiled dungeon every single enemy and boss can one shot you with half of their movesets. I personally think defiled is way worse Thant the dlc
Every boss in defiled is harder than every boss in the dlc. The dlc gets it's main difficulty from Ludwig and Laurence I don't know what it is but I died to orphan twice and lady maria once and living failures twice I think
Ummmm... No. I completed dlc in 5 hours but Amygdala in Defiled Chalice beaten all of shit out of me. And then I Did the same to her.
Defiled is WAYYY harder dude. You must be in the wrong dungeon my guy because you have no clue what your talking about. Any area that takes half of your health and gives it to the enemies and makes them hit 2x as hard... Yeah defiled chalice is the hardest hands down no exceptions.
Off all the Bloodborne + Old Hunters bosses, Ludwig was the most difficult for me. It was near impossible. I didn't go back to the game for weeks and months. I think it took me 3 months to finally defeat it lol. That crazy attack at 00:36 was the worst, especially with the camera that's making things even harder and the blood that covers the entirety of my vision.
I know this is a year late but I went through the same thing.. something about that first phase got to me

I remember when the dlc bosses did normal damage and not one shotting my 50 vit character in NG+6. Seems so long ago

Is it strange that I see each of the bosses as lord soul incarnations. Ludwig=Seath, Moonlight Greatsword+Mutation. Living Failures=Four Kings, Always four+Powerful magic. Laurence=Witch of Izalith, Burning Monstrosity+Lava Breath. Lady Maria=Gwyn, Aggressive+Fire Swords. Orphan of Kos=Gravelord Nito, Curved Weapon+Gravelord Sword Dance Variation. Also Maria said a "corpse" should be left well alone. Gwyn=Hollowed corpse. UNCONFIRMED COMPARISONS. Let me know what you think.

on NG+++++ Kos is the most AIDS boss ever. everything and I mean EVERYTHING he does one shots you. I beat him after 52 tries. blood vials are useless since you die in one hit. overall it took me like 25-30 hrs to beat the DLC probably longer if I didn't have some help from friends or NPCs
The fight against laurence was just, AMAIZING BRO.....

All I can say is that after seeing this DLC... I hope that there are more DLCs in the future.

Awesome gameplay, Ive recently started to play the dlc level and almost completed it already, I was like you with Lady Maria it took several attempts by myself to defeat her but I managed to do it, I’ve got Laurence the first Vicar and Kos to beat

I've came across the Vicar and Orphan and killed them easily with the bastard saw and I feel almost dead with relief after defeating them both.
I don't even have the DLC but some of these bosses make me kind of intimidated of even taking them on BUT that's what makes it so fun

Very far from it. Ik I’m very late on this one, but Laurence is the first vicar, a cleric beast, the very object of evil he became the second he chose to embrace the Old Blood. Basically, Laurence already chose to commit his sin by being part of why Yharnamites became beasts.

So allow me to help you. That 'white blob' was Kos. Kos was killed by Hunters after being experimented with, and she was pregnant. She gave birth to the Orphan of Kos. The orphan's crying would also imply and further prove this pure manifest I have laid out.

I made it to +7 Honestly the the game seems to reach the climax of difficulty on new game +1 After that I could speed run the game in under 2 hours no glitches/ cheesing ect.
