@@cosseybomb I really liked the cane, but I didn’t spec my character to use it at its potential. I did however spec him to use weapons like the Beast Cutter and it was powerful. Since it had bonus damage against beasts, that was a huge plus. It was also really fun to use. The reach was great, but the obvious drawback was that it was slow, so it wasn’t too over powered.
Most of the weapon transform sounds are unique and awesome. I particularly love the metallic "thunk" of Ludwig's Holy Blade. The transforming sound of the Rakuyo is a little underwhelming, though. 😉
@@BadgerSaidSoit’s crazy how many people have come into the souls franchise from elden ring. I haven’t even beaten the first boss in elden ring. But I have finished souls trilogy, sekiro, and bloodborne countless times…
The Kos Parasite and the Beast Claw are easily two of the coolest weapons ever put in a game There's something about almost turning into an enemy that's super awesome and appealing

The Hunter's Torch is actually a pretty effective weapon, especially in the early game when you face many Beasts. The fact it also gives you substantial light is a welcome bonus. Really shines (pun intended) with high Arcane builds.
You probably already bought one, but PS4. That way you can play almost all the souls games, as Bloodborne is only on PS4. The only one you wont be able to play is Demons Souls, as the remake is exclusive to PS5.
@@nekaneka-lo2js Very anti-meh. A PC port would let many other gamers experience Bloodborne's awesomeness, which would goose sales. With enough of a fan renaissance, we might actually get Bloodborne II.

The weapons in bloodborne are just amazing
I know so many complain there's less weapons in Bloodborne than Dark Souls but every weapon in Bloodborne feel so unique and satisfying to use.
All the weapons got some sort of feel but then theres the gatling gun just bang bang bang bang bang bang

Walking in slow motion while firing heavy artillery rounds is all I need to feel badass, personally.
Simon's Bowblade and the Gatling Gun are definitely making me consider a bloodtinge build
I used a bowblade bloodtinge when the dlc first came out. It was great fun!
It’s been a year build simons bow would be a dex/tinge build and cannon strength/tinge build😊

The beast cutter is basically a saw cleaver and threaded cane combined.
I love Bloodborne's approach to weapon design; a perfect example of quality over quantity, if you ask me.
Considering that almost every right-hand weapon is actually two weapons, quantity is pretty good, too.
Who ever made this games sound design are gods, every weapon in this game sounds epic, very few sound meh

I rationalized the Kos Parasite with Milkweed Rune in New Game Plus as my "mature" form after becoming an infant Great One.

The sound deaign in FromSoft games is simply amazing.

IMHO the main game has plenty of cool stuff. But the new weapons are one part of what makes the DLC such a worthwhile investment.
