- The common perception of a soldier's life is that of an easy, fun-filled career of cheap afco-bought goods. But as the deployment of Kenyan Defence Force in Somali proves, being far away from home and for long periods in an environment where death from an enemy bullet is a constant threat is a harsh reality in a soldier's life. For combat forces, that means separation from loved ones and the agony of not knowing if you will return alive to see them again. Judy Kosgei spent time with KDF in Somalia and found out that behind the tough, battle-hardened faces are spouses, parents, children and siblings with nostalgia for home and family.
I don’t know what is the agenda of kenya but clearly I can judge the soldiers captain when he said he wanna help his Brothers in Somalia.... that brought tears to my eyes.... We love our Kenyan brothers & all who believe in our brotherhood!

The Somali map you have been using in your introductory song includes North Eastern Kenya, and Ogaden area of Ethiopia!!!!! You annexed Kenya and Ethiopia into Somalia.!!!!
That is the real map of Somalia and TV reporter didn't commit any grave error. The NFD and Ogaden are Somali lands not Ethiopia or Kenya can claim. If British colony gave to those countries doesn't mean they it belongs to them. It always belong to Somalia and its ppl.
