Just got the KQ3i Pro, theyve updated a couple things that address your 2 hates. Unlock is now 200meters, took about 1 minute to go through unlock process. Second, they've added a toggle to the app to remove kick to start if you want.
I just picked up a Kqi3 max excited to get it and stroll the streets of Chicago

@@dgvertical Started having issues with the throttle sticking after about 450 miles. Sprayed it with some silicone lube and it fixed it for the most part. I'll probably order a new thottle to replace it or maybe send it in for warranty since it's too dark for me to feel comfortable riding it home after work. Other than that, no problems.
Some good deals going on with these right now especially at Best Buy. Out of these 3 I'd probably get the 3 Pro for the price/performance.

You should have mentioned that the build quality on the NIU scooters is the best on the market right now. I’ve ridden a few dozen scooters over the years and NIU’s build quality is insane. The only scooter that I’ve tried that even comes close is the Ninebot Max. NIU is practically giving the scooters away at these prices.

How does it feel without suspension?
I read the max can be unlocked to a top speed of 38mph. Is this true?
Just bought mine. Yes , unlocked top speed is 23.75 mph

Don't know why you would denigrate the tutorial. It's for legal reasons and it's not that big of a deal if you have to do it once or three times. Each scooter obviously requires it whether you have done it before. You could also be sharing the scooter with someone, or maybe it's for someone else and they are using your account.
It's a safety feature and nonsensical(almost whiny) to complain about something related to safety.

When it comes to mechanical vs hydraulic there really isn't that much of a difference unless you're a heavier rider.
Shame the self healing tyres don’t feature on all 3. Great budget scooters though.

There is a hack for these scooters. The maximum speed will increase from 25 to 38 km.

I like it very much..but because of the app invades my privacy...therefore, I opt out of buying it. I do not want the Chinese government know where I am at.
KQI3 is a fun scooter and solid. But, try to get if fixed. No one will touch them. Good Luck !
That goes for any scooter, the NIU scooter is less likely to break down as opposed to other scooters.
My only complaint is that it's not water resistant like Ebikes are.
over priced so i wont but i will stick with ,y iscooter ix5 25 miles full range 28mph and its light despite its size has a 15 ah battery cost me 480.00 pounds but that was year n half ago
