I think that the letter Pope Emeritus Benedict wrote giving advise to the Catholic Church about the causes of the sexual abuse crises (not only in the Church, but also throughout the world) and advise on how to respond to this situation was both brilliant and insightful. I wouldn't be surprised if he became a Doctor of the Catholic Church because of his wisdom and many writings.
The term "Pope Emeritus" is nonsense. The word "Pope" P etrí - A postoli - P otestatem - A ccipiens (He who recieves the power of Peter the Apostle). If Benedict XVI does not have that power or authority any longer, why is he still "pope". The catholic church is way behind on matters of simple logic. Benedict XVI should become the Bishop of the Archbasilica of Saint John Lateran, but not "Pope Emeritus."

Last month they just rounded up 325 priest's in the state of Pennsylvania on sexual abuse. The catholic church sad to say has become a haven for homosexuals what a better cover-up. The Bible gives us very plain language for the clergy and the qualifications of a Bishop or pastor in the clergy in 1 Timothy 3 God tells us that the clergy must be married and married only once, he must abstain from alcohol, his children must be in obedience to their parents. God goes on in the very next chapter in, 1 Timothy 4:1-7, and warns the clergy of forbidding to marry. God calls this doctrine, "DOCTRINE OF DEVILS" this alone should make one flee from this church I have because of all the corruption going against the very laws of God I had to leave becuse of all this.
