So first God gave us His only son so that Jesus may teach us the word of God (parables and stuff) which basically teaches us to be respectful and loving to each other. Second He died on the cross to show really the barbaric nature of us humans, but he also showed us there was a chance for redemption for even the roman captors that tortured Him He forgave. Jesus also bridged the gap between man and divinity, He died a man but rose again divine, and he kind of like shared that power among us all. Personally I dont believe that only Christians would go to heaven, I mean Christianity is about love and caring for one another to me (atleast) it doesnt matter if you're christian or any other religion or belief in the world, just as long as you care for your fellow man you're ok in my book, and I presume His too. Yes, the catholic church is an evil organization. Much idolatry/spiritual adultery against the Lord Jesus Christ taking place in the evil catholic church. Prayers to mary, prayers to saints, idol statues of them that people bow to-including bowing to the pope-idolizing him-kissing his ring etc. It is idolatry. The list goes on and on.
