Brilliant game play. Pays homage to other video game characters. The music is dope. The stage layouts are fire and it has a little bit of comedy in it. Very good edition.
This game really knows how to break the mold. Vertical sections at World 2-4, 4-2, 4-4 and 9-3, a shoot-'em-up at 3-2 and 9-4, a weird ghost house fake-out at 3-4, awesome pixel art in 4-3, custom sprites everywhere, snow effects in 6-1, rising lava at 8-2, stationary enemies in 9-2... you don't normally see this much creativity in a single ROM hack of Super Mario All-Stars. It makes me wish I was as creative.
When I first saw the Banzai Bill, my brain farted and I thought it was impressive that they ported a SMW enemy into SMAS, but then I reread the title and it dawned upon me that the hacker actually ported all the standard SMB enemies and even the flagpole into SMW.
This is actually really well-made. I dig the level design and all of the references, particularly, I was NOT expecting Eversion at 42:55, that really brings me back

on first glance, I thought this was just gonna be a "lol so random" hack with obnoxious jokes. but the level design here is *brilliant.* manages to be tricky and fun, without being frustrating. and the Sky Pop levels? outstanding, love to see it. congratulations to everyone involved for some damn good work ❤
