I can relate to the club sandwich bit. I used to smoke daily for close to a decade since college. I quit cold turkey about 2 years ago. One day I went and got a delta 8 vape at a smoke shop. It just so happened that I went to visit my parents the day I decided to use it. My mom asked me to make dinner and I was zooted. I had to try to play it off like I was fine, so of course I accepted. I have no idea to this day how I did it, but my moms says me making her dinner that day is something she’ll always remember. She was stuck in bed because of back pain, and she said that was the only time anyone has ever made her dinner and served it to her in bed. A funny, yet heartwarming story I still remember.

I’ve tried the delta 8 and I’m an older people. Let me tell ya… I wasn’t used to that and wasn’t expecting that. Tried some gummies and it had somewhat of a delayed reaction. I started feeling relaxed and I thought that was the extent of it. Later that day I had to run to my parents house and on the way I started feeling it - I had momentary glitches of not knowing where I was until I passed something familiar and then I could remember. Strange feeling! I don’t recommend going out and driving after taking delta 8 🤣
Man. when i was Twenty.... uh....4 or 3? i was BIG into Weed. i had yet to have Surgery, and smoking it made my Anxiety Stop dead in its Tracks right. so i thought "Well, if Smoking it is super Great, im sure EATING it would be even better, right??!" So i made it into "Butter" by chopping it up, melting it with butter on very low heat. the butter looked like Incredible Hulk Jizz i strained all of the Chopped up shit out of it i could, which wasn't a ton.. "so i got that crunchy, gaggy taste to go with it" and i added it to a BIG ol Bowl of home made Texas Chili! i was eating it playing World of Warcraft in a Dungeon Raid with my friends... and everything went south VERY fucking quickly. next thing i know im telling my parents "who i was completely trusting of, and they was fine with all that" that i "Didn't know if i was Breathing anymore or not" and that quote "Time is Jumping in very large Skips for me, and i don't know where im at in Time" or something to that Effect. i then tried to run out of the house in just my Shorts, in the middle of fucking Austin... "the City" my Dad was experienced enough he took me back in my room and sat with me and talked to me to make sure i didn't climb the Wall, or Put my Toes in my Nose and Suffocate. he kept hearing this Honking outside and we was both like "Wtf why is someone Honking so much at 3AM?" come to find out i had my hand on his Keychain, pressing his Key to unlock and lock his truck over and over again, without even knowing it lol.. God i miss my Mom and Dad.. they were so funny... he didn't find that very funny at the time though rofl A few years later, i almost died from a Gallstone of all things, that came out of my Gallbladder and got lodged in my bile duct. "which while blocking my Livers normal drainage, was also INCREDIBLY PAINFUL" but thankfully the doctors finally figured out wtf was going on and helped me.. but i got highly addicted to Opiates cause of the MASSIVE Surgery, they cut me from one end of my stomach to the other, and i was in pain daily from it for nearly 10 years. and it completely ruined me on P, Cause the Opiates effected my brain chemistry somehow, so when i do it now, it makes me INCREDIBLY Paranoid, incredibly freaked out and the whole 9.. so i guess it was fun while it lasted..
Sadly or very happily (perspective) I am one of those people who doesn't get anything from edibles , they are wasted on me , my system doesn't convert the Thc so I must use heat and inhale it , I will not vape though I am too old school , I still use a well worn metal pipe for my utensil .

As someone who accidentally ate 80mg in gummies of Delta-9, I feel your pain. I couldn’t get out of my recliner and the blanket felt like it weighed 200 pounds. When I did finally get up I chewed on *1* Cheeto for 5 minutes. My mouth was so dry I was essentially just moving dry cheese powder around my mouth. I spit it out and tried to drink water but I forgot how to swallow. Then I took 12 minutes to put my shoes on to go for a walk to sober up but I looked out the window and the wind mildly blowing made me scared to go outside. So I just went and flossed my teeth then laid down. I watched magic tricks on TH-cam and I was flabbergasted by sleight of hand. Then I eventually fell asleep and told myself, never again. That was basically an 8-hour acid trip mixed with panic attacks and I hated it.

First time I took edible gummies I took 50 mg, thinking it would be a fine beginner dose. It kicked 30 minutes in (I thought it would take like an hour minimum) and I was so high I thought I was going to die. It humbled me and taught me to respect these substances.
If you have the chance to visit a dispensery or know someone who can go for you, i definitely recommend it. Medical is always better than the d8 stuff.

definitely start small in dosage like 5-10mg and make sure your state hasn't banned hemp cannabinoids. My state of Florida regulates them so they're all safe to use. Also there's a whole list of natural occurring THC's that exist in cannabis. Delta-9, Delta-8, Delta-10, Delta-11, THC-P, THC-H, THC-B, THC-jd, HHC to name the common ones. They all have different effects and I can't wait until we know their individual medicinal benefits. I know Delta-8 kills cancer cells just like Delta-9.

The 1st time I ever properly smoked weed My mom was out of town and the people who were looking after the house rolled a big fat joint and invited me outside to smoke with them. I smoked that shit and then went into the kitchen to get some snacks and ended up staring into the fridge with my mouth gape for about half an hour before returning with a packet of Chips. The walk from the kitchen back to the table we were at felt like 10 miles when in reality it was only about 10 metres. good times

Bro i decarb hash oil regularly and my concoction usually end up being around 4 to 5 thousand mgs. Of course i dont go at it all at once, have before, but thats a waste but my doses are 500 to 1500mgs when i do consume. I also smoke a shit ton of live resin and rosin, so my tolerance is a bit higher. Delta 8, 9, 10, 11 all hemp derived alongside thca, thco, thcp, thch, hhc, hhco and more. They're all great when sourced right and act a lil different from each other some its more on the body with that heavy feel and others its a straight headtrip. Find what serves your purpose amongst the alternative cannabinoids and dont be afraid try regular cannabis too. Most in the industry want to turn you on but to something you enjoy. Plus if youve never dabbed work yourself up to a hit of hash oil/wax you may enjoy and find that to now be your thing.

I had a delta 8 gummy while on vacation in North Carolina, they told me it was the strongest one they had and it was called Zooted. I think it had some ridiculously high dose like 3500 mg. I was incapacitated high for 15 hours, just sat on the couch zoning out and drinking water.
I use to think people that got this messed up on edibles were either lying or just really weak or I don’t know. It just never happened to me. I’ve been smoking for half my life and I have an extremely high tolerance. I grow, make my own rosin, edibles etc. Either way, I remember the day I GREENED OUT. Holy crap. Man it was on the same level as shrooms but in a much different way. It felt like I was going back into time and I was on another planet. Like literally on another planet. I remember I was at my apt at the time and I remember looking at all the other apts and thinking, bro, I live like an ant. I’m over here in like a colony. Just living right next to peole and all we do is work. And then it felt like a dream I had when I was 6 years old. It was insane. Hated the feeling. The other time I GREENED OUT was off of some homemade tincture. I wanted to get really high. And usually the dosage is like 5 drops. I drank about a half cup. If I didn’t have as much experience with weed as I did, I most definitely would have called the cops to tell them I was either dead or dying. I made my gf breathe out loud so I knew I was still alive. Greening out sucks. But I’m glad I experienced it.

CBD is counteractive cannabinoid to all psychoactive cannabinoids (Tetrahydrocannabinols(THC)) which include Delta-9, Delta-8, Delta-10, Delta-11, THC-P, THC-H, THC-B, THC-jd, HHC. All are found naturally in cannabis and hemp (HHC found in seeds) in small amounts which is why they are legal. They're synthesized from CBD in a semi-synthetic process that yields the identical compound found in nature.

@@lanzi7912 it is chemically altered cbd, you need to do some research. I live in a legal state and it's still sold here. They all have at least traces of those chemicals as well, and some is straight up contaminated. It's not a substitute either. Delta 8 exists in small amounts in some strains. Some strains are rich in thcv which can also be derived from cbd produced by hemp. Some like thcp and thco aren't naturally occurring at all, but they ARE forms of thc. The stuff they spay on spice and k2 are more like substitutes because they act on the same receptors but are a completely unrelated compound.
Yeah, I was partaking pretty regularly a while back. I was drinking 100mg cans and it was only getting me mildly high for a few hours. It only took a few months to build up that tolerance, surprisingly. I didn't think it was possible. It's pretty crazy. My 1st 100 can snuck up on me really hard tho. I took a couple of chugs and started feeling it in 10-15 minutes. Then I realized that I had drank probably 50mg in about 30 seconds. That liquid stuff will get you fast and hard. I quit a month or so ago, and it might be that last time I do it. I was drinking a can a day for a while there. I think it's time. Fun video tho.

Man this stuff should come with a warning label. I have bad anxiety and take stuff daily for it. My wife grabbed me one of these not knowing any better thinking oh its just CBD maybe it will help calm you. I drank it not thinking or knowing myself. Needless to say my nerves are still recovering I was sounding the alarms at the house that night me and the dogs were blasting off to the moon.

I myself would likely need 2 of those 50 MG sodas if not MORE considering how high my tolerance to THC in general is. One time I accidentally did 4000mg. It was an experience that was almost psychedelic. Although not visually, it was definitely trippy. The only way I can experience is a type of lag, but within my senses. I would "lag" back, and then they would catch back up. Sort of like rubberbanding. But everything I did, mostly touch, would come back all at once. But it was every half a second or so, I dragged my blanket over me, and felt it over and over, like an echo. Greened out bad obviously. This stuff don't play around!

I smoked weed every day for many years. I stopped for about 15 years. I’m now 50 and just got my MMJ card. I discovered that I don’t even enjoy smoking anymore. What I do like though is the cannabis tinctures. You can really control your dose and it’s a very pleasant buzz. Totally different than smoking.

Several years ago while in Seattle with a friend, we visited a dispensary and bought some things to try. One thing was a bag of chocolate malted milk balls. We had no idea what the chemical make up was. There were 10 in the bag and we each ate 5, like it was candy and it tasted like it. After about an hour, I was just wanting the feeling to go away. Can't really describe the feeling but it wasn't something I was liking or enjoying. That was my 1 and only experience with edibles and I have no desire to ever try that again regardless of what's in it.

"You can't uneat it." lol 😆😂 I wish the dispensary worker had mentioned that to us even though we should have already known that. We just didn't really know what we were buying or the potency of it. I should mention that dispensarys are illegal in our home town so it was all a new experience for us and not one that I can reflect on as a happy thing.
Someone from work recommended delta 8 gummie for pain, I went bought one , took half, nothing happened, 10 mins later I took the other half 🙄 another 10 mins I thought the TV was alive 👾 allians in my liveingroom! Never again!
I appreciate your disclaimer. As an avid consumer with high tolerance, I’m constantly surprised with what smokers will recommend to folks either returning or dabbling for the first time. Even 10mg can be way too strong for some folks. On the flip side, 100mg is the lowest effective dose for someone like me. There’s def a market for it, but consumers deserve better education.
This reminds me of a batch of gummies I tried a couple years ago that were 10 to a pouch and boasted an insane 500mg per gummy (5,000mg of D8 per pouch, the brand was called "Demon"). At the time, my light tolerance came from vapes, I wasn't prepared for edibles. I took one gummy and was disappointed that nothing happened. 15 minutes, 30 minutes... 45 minutes. Nothing. I was smart enough not to take a 2nd as I've heard *_those_* horror stories. At about the hour mark after taking the gummy, I remember being on the can and then suddenly wondering where the exits were in this public bathroom (I was in my own house) and what the hell could they possibly be hiding with that hideous shower curtain. Then I realized I was at home. That likely lasted only a couple seconds, but it seemed to be an entire thought process. Only minutes later while on the couch, I was trying to read the clock as I believed my shift was about to start at the post office, in Detroit... and it was the 1970's. I've never worked for the USPS and have never been to Detroit. Again, a brief loss of reality and I snapped back easily enough... but to say I was baked would be an understatement.

i was eating it playing World of Warcraft in a Dungeon Raid with my friends... and everything went south VERY fucking quickly. next thing i know im telling my parents "who i was completely trusting of, and they was fine with all that" that i "Didn't know if i was Breathing anymore or not" and that quote "Time is Jumping in very large Skips for me, and i don't know where im at in Time" or something to that Effect.
i then tried to run out of the house in just my Shorts, in the middle of fucking Austin... "the City" my Dad was experienced enough he took me back in my room and sat with me and talked to me to make sure i didn't climb the Wall, or Put my Toes in my Nose and Suffocate. he kept hearing this Honking outside and we was both like "Wtf why is someone Honking so much at 3AM?" come to find out i had my hand on his Keychain, pressing his Key to unlock and lock his truck over and over again, without even knowing it lol..
God i miss my Mom and Dad.. they were so funny... he didn't find that very funny at the time though rofl
A few years later, i almost died from a Gallstone of all things, that came out of my Gallbladder and got lodged in my bile duct. "which while blocking my Livers normal drainage, was also INCREDIBLY PAINFUL" but thankfully the doctors finally figured out wtf was going on and helped me.. but i got highly addicted to Opiates cause of the MASSIVE Surgery, they cut me from one end of my stomach to the other, and i was in pain daily from it for nearly 10 years. and it completely ruined me on P, Cause the Opiates effected my brain chemistry somehow, so when i do it now, it makes me INCREDIBLY Paranoid, incredibly freaked out and the whole 9.. so i guess it was fun while it lasted..

As someone who accidentally ate 80mg in gummies of Delta-9, I feel your pain.
I couldn’t get out of my recliner and the blanket felt like it weighed 200 pounds.
When I did finally get up I chewed on *1* Cheeto for 5 minutes. My mouth was so dry I was essentially just moving dry cheese powder around my mouth. I spit it out and tried to drink water but I forgot how to swallow.
Then I took 12 minutes to put my shoes on to go for a walk to sober up but I looked out the window and the wind mildly blowing made me scared to go outside. So I just went and flossed my teeth then laid down.
I watched magic tricks on TH-cam and I was flabbergasted by sleight of hand.
Then I eventually fell asleep and told myself, never again. That was basically an 8-hour acid trip mixed with panic attacks and I hated it.

definitely start small in dosage like 5-10mg and make sure your state hasn't banned hemp cannabinoids. My state of Florida regulates them so they're all safe to use. Also there's a whole list of natural occurring THC's that exist in cannabis. Delta-9, Delta-8, Delta-10, Delta-11, THC-P, THC-H, THC-B, THC-jd, HHC to name the common ones. Bro i decarb hash oil regularly and my concoction usually end up being around 4 to 5 thousand mgs. Of course i dont go at it all at once, have before, but thats a waste but my doses are 500 to 1500mgs when i do consume. I also smoke a shit ton of live resin and rosin, so my tolerance is a bit higher. Delta 8, 9, 10, 11 all hemp derived alongside thca, thco, thcp, thch, hhc, hhco and more. They're all great when sourced right and act a lil different from each other some its more on the body with that heavy feel and others its a straight headtrip. Find what serves your purpose amongst the alternative cannabinoids and dont be afraid try regular cannabis too. Most in the industry want to turn you on but to something you enjoy. Plus if youve never dabbed work yourself up to a hit of hash oil/wax you may enjoy and find that to now be your thing.

I use to think people that got this messed up on edibles were either lying or just really weak or I don’t know. It just never happened to me. I’ve been smoking for half my life and I have an extremely high tolerance. I grow, make my own rosin, edibles etc. Either way, I remember the day I GREENED OUT. Holy crap. Man it was on the same level as shrooms but in a much different way. It felt like I was going back into time and I was on another planet. Like literally on another planet. I remember I was at my apt at the time and I remember looking at all the other apts and thinking, bro, I live like an ant. I’m over here in like a colony. Just living right next to peole and all we do is work. And then it felt like a dream I had when I was 6 years old. It was insane. Hated the feeling. The other time I GREENED OUT was off of some homemade tincture. I wanted to get really high. And usually the dosage is like 5 drops. I drank about a half cup. If I didn’t have as much experience with weed as I did, I most definitely would have called the cops to tell them I was either dead or dying. I made my gf breathe out loud so I knew I was still alive. Greening out sucks. But I’m glad I experienced it.

Some strains are rich in thcv which can also be derived from cbd produced by hemp. Some like thcp and thco aren't naturally occurring at all, but they ARE forms of thc. The stuff they spay on spice and k2 are more like substitutes because they act on the same receptors but are a completely unrelated compound.

Yeah, I was partaking pretty regularly a while back. I was drinking 100mg cans and it was only getting me mildly high for a few hours. It only took a few months to build up that tolerance, surprisingly. I didn't think it was possible. It's pretty crazy. My 1st 100 can snuck up on me really hard tho. I took a couple of chugs and started feeling it in 10-15 minutes. Then I realized that I had drank probably 50mg in about 30 seconds. That liquid stuff will get you fast and hard. I quit a month or so ago, and it might be that last time I do it. I was drinking a can a day for a while there. I think it's time. Fun video tho.

One time I accidentally did 4000mg. It was an experience that was almost psychedelic. Although not visually, it was definitely trippy. The only way I can experience is a type of lag, but within my senses. I would "lag" back, and then they would catch back up. Sort of like rubberbanding. But everything I did, mostly touch, would come back all at once. But it was every half a second or so, I dragged my blanket over me, and felt it over and over, like an echo. Greened out bad obviously. This stuff don't play around!

Several years ago while in Seattle with a friend, we visited a dispensary and bought some things to try. One thing was a bag of chocolate malted milk balls. That was my 1 and only experience with edibles and I have no desire to ever try that again regardless of what's in it.
@ditchwizard ... I appreciate the fact that while working in a dispensary, you warned people and your wording is excellent advice, especially for inexperienced newbies. "You can't uneat it." lol 😆😂 I wish the dispensary worker had mentioned that to us even though we should have already known that. We just didn't really know what we were buying or the potency of it. I should mention that dispensarys are illegal in our home town so it was all a new experience for us and not one that I can reflect on as a happy thing.

Someone from work recommended delta 8 gummie for pain, I went bought one , took half, nothing happened, 10 mins later I took the other half 🙄 another 10 mins I thought the TV was alive 👾 allians in my liveingroom! Never again!
I appreciate your disclaimer. As an avid consumer with high tolerance, I’m constantly surprised with what smokers will recommend to folks either returning or dabbling for the first time. Even 10mg can be way too strong for some folks. On the flip side, 100mg is the lowest effective dose for someone like me. There’s def a market for it, but consumers deserve better education.

This reminds me of a batch of gummies I tried a couple years ago that were 10 to a pouch and boasted an insane 500mg per gummy (5,000mg of D8 per pouch, the brand was called "Demon"). At the time, my light tolerance came from vapes, I wasn't prepared for edibles.
I took one gummy and was disappointed that nothing happened. 15 minutes, 30 minutes... 45 minutes. Nothing. I was smart enough not to take a 2nd as I've heard *_those_* horror stories.
At about the hour mark after taking the gummy, I remember being on the can and then suddenly wondering where the exits were in this public bathroom (I was in my own house) and what the hell could they possibly be hiding with that hideous shower curtain.
Then I realized I was at home. That likely lasted only a couple seconds, but it seemed to be an entire thought process. Only minutes later while on the couch, I was trying to read the clock as I believed my shift was about to start at the post office, in Detroit... and it was the 1970's. I've never worked for the USPS and have never been to Detroit.
Again, a brief loss of reality and I snapped back easily enough... but to say I was baked would be an understatement.
